The Ocean Eyes singer has finally announced world tour dates for her second studio album, Happier Than Ever. The pop star will travel across the globe next year with the tour kicking off in New Orleans on February 3 and ending in Zurich, Switzerland on July 2.
Produced by her brother Finneas, Happier Than Ever is scheduled to be released on July 30 this year, following her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? which was released in 2019.
After the brother-sister duo shared the news of their 2022 world tour, a certain singer-songwriter (and supposed admirer of Billie) left a seemingly flirty comment on the announcement post.
What Is John Mayer Upto?
John Mayer aka one of Hollywood's most infamous playboys left a comment on the post announcing the world tour, revealing he'd be attending the concert in Louisville, Kentucky on March 11.
"What time does the Louisville show start? It says 7:30 but does that mean you go on at 7:30 or is that just when you want people there? Again this is for Louisville. Thanks" he wrote in the comment.
Mayer later realized the attention his comment had received and noted "I should have known I’d be bringing this upon myself when I thought to make one of those hot-button 'venue showtime' jokes."
Billie Eilish's fans are frustrated with his comment and asked Mayer to "stay away from her" citing she was too young. The Heartbreak Warfare singer is known as the Casanova of the celebrity dating scene in Hollywood and has been linked to several women of all ages in the past.
Billie's fans caused something of a frenzy in the comments section, begging the 43-year-old to stay away from her.
"Please keep John Mayer away from the young ones. Thank you."
"19's STILL too young, John."
"ew he shouldn't be allowed to talk to her, let alone breathe her air.."
Some users noted Mayer was making a "joke" and had learned from being a player in his younger days. The comment read "So annoying that people can’t take his joke! He was a player 15 years ago. He’s over it. He appreciates good music."
Let's just say Billie's fans will be doing their best to shield her from John Mayer, no matter what happens!
