With so many things on her plate, how involved is Khloé Kardashian in running Good American? Fans love Khloé Kardashian for her playful and charismatic personality. She isn’t afraid to say whatever she feels, attracting controversy and popularity. Even though she became famous during Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloé Kardashian made a name for herself as a socialite in Hollywood.
Having an immense platform due to her fame, Khloé Kardashian transformed a collaboration, the Good American, into a successful and profitable business. With so many projects simultaneously, Khloé Kardashian makes time for the denim brand, and not only to promote it.
Good American Wasn’t Entirely Khloé Kardashian’s Idea
While her personal life continues to make more headlines than her work, Khloé Kardashian speaks about Good American whenever she gets the opportunity. Even though her wealth is immense, Khloé Kardashian never stops pursuing more opportunities.
One opportunity came in 2016 when Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede launched Good American which became the “go-to” jeans brand instantly for many of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans.
It seems that even if many buyers don’t know much about one of the founders, Emma Grede was reportedly the one who came up with the idea for the brand. To celebrate the launch of the brand in Nordstrom, they discussed how it all started during an interview with Elle.
After she got the idea for the brand, Emma Grede went to Kris Jenner, an old friend of hers, to ask if Khloé Kardashian would be interested in being her partner. Not only she was interested, but also appreciated her idea of empowering women through all-size choices. Shortly after this proposal, Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede launched Good American.
How Involved Is Khloé Kardashian In Running Good American?
Even though she is known to promote the Good American denim brand at every opportunity she gets, Khloe Kardashian’s life is full of challenges from her work to her personal life. Her relationship with Tristan Thompson resulted in two children, although a lot of drama wasn’t finished yet.
From very public cheating allegations toward her ex-boyfriend to being a single mom again, and filming another show with her family, Khloé has a lot going on.
So, it’s not clear how involved she is in running Good American.
During an interview, the co-founder of the denim brand, Emma Grede, said she had a great experience working with the Kardashians, saying, "My experience of working first with Khloé, and now with Kim and Kris, is that they’re successful because they work really hard. They’re really great businesswomen."
Considering they are working together since 2016, and even longer with Kris Jenner, it’s no wonder the Good American brand is thriving. If Emma Grede is pleased with her partner, then it means Khloé Kardashian is pretty involved in the brand, not just promoting it on social media.
Jennifer Lopez Was Khloé Kardashian’s Role Model
Being on Keeping Up With The Kardashians from her early 20s came with a huge fan base, but also more attention on her each step. It’s no secret that during the filming of the eighteen successful seasons, Khloé Kardashian’s weight varied, receiving criticism constantly from viewers.
When the opportunity came for empowering women of all sizes through fashion, Khloé couldn’t be happier. She uses her platform consistently to promote the Good American brand, explaining, "I was one of those girls who would go to a clothing store and they wouldn't have my size in jeans. I would feel horrible."
During the same interview for Elle, Khloé instantly named Jennifer Lopez as one of her main role models throughout her life. Jennifer Lopez reportedly inspired Khloé because of her curvier body, and popularity as a strong woman in pop culture.
Khloé mentioned that her daughter, True, also inspires her. She wants to be part of creating inclusive and diverse brands, through which everyone feels like they belong.
The Income From Good American Is Only A Little Part From Her Net Worth
It’s no secret Khloé Kardashian’s fame and wealth didn’t come from Good American only. As a reality TV star, Khloé has been a household name in television for almost two decades. Since Keeping Up With The Kardashians first aired, the entire family’s recognition and fame have skyrocketed.
Since then, each member has built an impressive career and owns at least one business. With an immense net worth combined, they all spoil their children with costly toys and gifts. Khloé Kardashian reportedly bought an extensive garage of cars for her daughter True.
Because of her fame and the family business in entertainment, Khloé Kardashian’s annual salary is around $15 million. The income coming from Good American is only a small part of the tens of millions in net worth that mostly came as a result of her family show.
Considering that Emma Grede, the co-founder of the brand, appreciates Khloé Kardashian's work ethic, it's clear that Khloé Kardashian is pretty involved in running Good American, even if it's not her main income source.
