The screen adaptation of author E.L James', 50 Shades trilogy took the world by storm. Although not very well received, the series grossed over $1.32 billion worldwide.
The first film in the series, 50 Shades of Grey shot the leading actors to stardom, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson's lives would never be the same after that. Owing to the spicy nature of the series, Dornan's wife, composer, Amelia Warner, has never seen the films. Who can blame her?
Jamie doubled his Fifty Shades earnings for a net worth of $15 million, playing Christian Grey, cemented the actor's place in the industry. The role came with its downsides, though, like some fans assuming that Dornan and Johnson were a couple in real life.

During an appearance on the Jonathan Ross show, the The Fall star revealed, "I think I’ll be dealing with that my whole life. A million jobs you think you’re changing people’s opinion, there’s people who are married to that idea of you as one thing."
He continued, "There’s a lot of absurd fan theories about that world and those characters, and that Dakota Johnson and I have children together. I don’t know where we keep them. I’ve got three of my own kids to worry about."
The Fifty Shades star shares three children with his wife Amelia. The couple has been together since 2010 and is still going strong.
Amelia Is Supportive Of Jamie's Career
Fifty Shades propelled Jamie to heartthrob status, he was the object of countless fantasies of fans of the books. He brought the mercurial Christian Grey to life as only he could. The franchise was heavily criticized, yet still performed well at the box office.
What made the Fifty Shades movies popular is their spicy NSFW scenes and taboo content, and that's the reason Amelia has never seen them. However, that doesn't mean she never will.
That being said, she's supportive of Jamie's career and had visited him on sets of the Fifty Shades movies a number of times. Despite some negative reviews the trilogy reviewed, Jamie doesn't regret playing Christian Grey.
He told GQ, "Look, put it this way: it’s done no harm to my career to be part of a movie franchise that has made more than $1 billion. Every working actor would say the same thing. It’s provided – a lot."
He elaborated, "There’s no shame in saying it’s transformed my life and my family’s life financially. I am very, very grateful for this and always will be. And the fans loved it. "
Who Is Amelia Warner?
Warner isn't just Jamie Dornan's wife, she's a star in her own right too. She's achieved success on her own merit, Warner is a composer. In 2018, she won the Breakthrough Composer of the Year award at the IFMCA Awards.
She even collaborated with her husband in 2020, she composed the music for the romantic drama Wild Mountain Thyme that Jamie starred in.
In an interview with E!News Jamie talked about working with Amelia on Wild Mountain Thyme, he said, "It's this crazy cool thing that we got to work together, sort of inadvertently. … Composers come on last, they're sort of the last piece of the puzzle."
He added, "So we'd already made the movie, and then she got to come on and sorta sprinkle some stardust over it and try to make me more watchable, certainly. You know, her work is amazing, and it was a beautiful thing to be able to work together."
Amelia also did some acting in the past, most notably she starred in Lorna Doone playing the titular character. She last appeared onscreen in 2012 but hasn't left showbiz.
