The legal drama featured a stacked cast with the likes of Jack Nicholson, Aaron Sorkin, Demi Moore, Kiefer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon and so many others. The film was a hit at the box office, while receiving strong reviews as well.
Despite his rising stardom at the time, Cruise had no ego while filming. According to actor Kevin Pollak alongside The Sun, Cruise was easy to approach and a great individual on-set.
Pollak revealed, "I remember being in the make-up trailer and telling somebody that it was my eighth film and Tom overheard and said, 'This is your eighth already? Man, I've only done six!' And I said, 'Tom, you’ve starred in six films, you're a movie star. I've acted in eight, as a character actor."
Not only did Cruise treat his co-star as an equal, but he also wasn't afraid to show his sense of humor as well.
"It just felt ridiculous to me. Just to have met those people would have been enough, seriously. Within the first nine seconds of me being there, the giant movie star that is Tom Cruise treated me as his equal, just like that, instantly."

The actress revealed that she pressed a random button in his home, but little did she know it was a panic button that signaled the police.
"I was pregnant, I was very pregnant, and we got invited over to dinner. We got invited over for dinner with lots of famous people like Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, because she was in [A Few Good Men]... It was one of those nights that I often don't get invited to..."
She continues, "There was this, like, fireplace mantle, and I was looking around and there was this little button underneath the mantel. I was like, “Oh what is that little button?” So I pressed the little button because I thought maybe something interesting will happen. Nothing happened and then I got a little nervous..."
Five cops ended showed up, while the screening party was also delayed as Kyra had to answer questions as to what had taken place with the cops... She revealed that herself and Kevin were never invited back after the incident...

As expected, Kevin Bacon had to do some damage control after the incident took place. Speaking alongside ET, Bacon revealed that all he could do in that moment was apologize, given what had taken place and the delay that it caused.
“I just apologized,” he explained. “‘Oh honey, she’s so crazy. There she goes again pressing buttons.'”
As if that wasn't stressful enough, the guest list on-hand during the party likely made things that much more difficult.
