Between Christmas movies, multipart series, and other seasonal movies, the Party of Five alum has made her mark on the channel. As such, it is no wonder that Crown Media was so quick to offer Chabert an exclusive contract to remain with the network when some of their stars, including the lady of Christmas herself, Candace Cameron Bure, chose to move to GAC, a move that looks to be lucrative for the actress.
As part of the agreement to stay with the Hallmark Channel for the next two years, Chabert will leave her mark on productions both in front and behind the camera. It's a move that gives not only gives Chabert more acting credits to her name but also more clout in the industry as well. This means that both Crown Media and the Mean Girls star look to benefit significantly from the collaboration occurring over the next couple of years.

During her twelve years of working with Hallmark making movies and series, Chabert has been best known for her acting skills. The same acting skills have resonated with television viewers over the years, making the Haul out the Holly star an obvious choice to be the face of the network.
It is not just acting that Chabert does for Crown Media, however. Chabert is hands-on when it comes to her productions. And this is why she has multiple titles for the movies produced for the network.
When it was announced in February that the Groundswell star signed a two-year contract with Crown Media, the announcement made it clear just how integral a part Chabert plays in her productions.
"In addition to shining on screen, Lacey is a prolific behind-the-scenes creative partner, developing and executive producing many of our highest-quality, most-beloved projects," Lisa Hamilton Daly explained in a statement.
The EVP of Programming at Crown Media went on to say, "She inherently understands and embodies what our networks are all about – the transformational power of love and making people feel good – and we look forward to continuing our work with her to create heartfelt, compelling stories that will entertain, inspire and touch our audience."
This means that in conjunction with starring in movies and mini-series for the network, Chabert will be producing and collaborating to create ideas for future projects the Hallmark Channel will air.
All of this adds to the importance of Chabert being a part of the network as well as puts more money in her pocket for each project she works on.
How Much Lacey Chabert Stands To Make At Hallmark
While there are not any disclosures as to the exact amount leading actors make from a Hallmark movie, it can be deduced that the amount being made is enough to support their lifestyle. Otherwise, celebrities would not have been a part of the network for a dozen years or more.
With that being said, the average production of a Hallmark movie is $2 million. Of that money, the leading stars receive anywhere between $50,000 and $200,000 for their roles.
So where does the rest of the money go? It goes to the supporting talent and those working behind the scenes. But the majority of the balance goes to scriptwriters and producers. Both of which Chabert will be participating in with the network.
