CT Tamburello has been a part of the MTV family since his debut on The Real World: Paris in 2003. During his time on the hit reality show, he became a fan favorite. Between his quick wit, good looks, and sharp tongue, it is easy to see why. This, along with his athleticism, made the reality star a perfect choice to compete and get paid for appearing on The Challenge.

Tamburello faced his share of ups and downs while competing on the series 22 times. But at the end of the day, he is also one of the most successful competitors, having won seven times. With these wins have come large paydays, which is why it is unsurprising that the father-of-one continues to come back to compete, along with other contestants who have had children. This is especially true given that his biggest paydays have come as Tamburello has aged, versus his younger days on The Challenge. But will he retire at the top of his game?

Unfortunately, Tamburello's personal life has not been as successful. After moving to Florida months after his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Diem Brown passed away from cancer, Tamburello met Lilianet Solares. The two immediately had a connection and soon welcomed a son together. Tamburello and Solares married, and it looked on the surface like the two had a happy and healthy relationship.

Looks can be deceiving, however. And after four years of marriage, the two decided to get a divorce. This means that there will be a division of property and finances, including the winnings from The Challenge.

CT Tamburello has made a small fortune from The Challenge. Will his divorce change that?

How Much CT Tamburello Is Worth

There are varying reports about Tamburello's net worth. Some estimates put the figure as low as $400,000, while others estimate his fortune to be over $1 million. However, the majority put what Tamburello has amassed somewhere in between. And this seems more likely, given what Tamburello has won on The Challenge alone.

With a net worth of approximately $800,000, Tamburello has done well for himself as a reality star. What is even more impressive is that Tamburello has not ventured outside of MTV to compete on other reality shows to try to earn an income.

It would take a few seasons of The Challenge for Tamburello to make a large payday. Because of this, several seasons saw him taking home amounts that were small five-figures only. But that all changed when Season 24 rolled around and Tamburello won $62,500. The figure is not bad for spending several weeks on a reality show.

Season 29 saw Tamburello taking home over $100,000 but that was the end of the big winnings for a period of time. But, when Tamburello came back to the series more healthy and fit than he had been in years, with Seasons 34, 36, and 37 earning Tamburello $250,000, $450,000, and $400,000, respectively.

Because of these wins, Tamburello is considered one of the GOATs on The Challenge. And with banking over $1 million from the series, it is easy to see why.

What CT Tamburello Does When Not Competing On The Challenge

For many making decent money from reality tv, finding a day job may be the furthest thing from their minds. But for Tamburello, it appears that he has taken some of his winnings to invest in his future. And because of this, The Challenge is just a side hustle.

When Tamburello is not on The Challenge, he has worked hard buying up properties, flipping them, and either renting them out or selling them.

"I’ve been doing real estate and construction for years. I do bang in nails, but typically what I’ll do is look at online options," Tamburello explained. "... Typically we’ll go in there with our crew, find a property, fix it up and we’ll just sell it. Right now, the way the market is, rent is going through the roof. It’s better to hold onto a bunch of rental properties than it is to sell them."

Tamburello is also an aspiring actor. He landed his first film role in 2019 and has had two others released since that time. And with yet another film in post-production currently, it appears that Tamburello might be moving in the right direction away from The Challenge and into the limelight as an action star.

What CT Tamburello Stands To Lose Financially By Divorcing Lilianet Solares

Tamburello and Solares live in Florida. As such, most couples divorcing will be ordered to split the marital property equally. This means that anything that Tamburello has brought to the relationship financially or in property since being married in 2018, Solares is entitled to an equal share of.

That could be quite a bit unless there is cause to show why Solares should not receive this amount.

"Nonmarital assets are generally those that were obtained prior to the marriage, or inherited after the marriage. In most cases, property obtained during the marriage will be considered marital property. Only marital property will be divided between the two spouses, while nonmarital property will be kept by whichever spouse is considered the owner."

Since his marriage to Solares, Tamburello won Seasons 36 and 37 of The Challenge. That means $850,000 is marital property. If there were any homes purchased either for the former couple to live in or for investment properties since September 2018, those too, are marital property.

Of course, money received for Tamburello's acting credits would be included in the marital property as well.

As such, Tamburello stands to lose quite a bit financially once the divorce is finalized. Just what that final amount will be, however, will ultimately be up to a judge to decide.
