Sarah Paulson has become one of the biggest names in Hollywood, and rightfully so! The star is known for her many roles, including appearances in Ocean's 8, Bird Box, and of course, her controversial role in American Horror Story.
The actress shares quite a special friendship with Ryan Murphy, who created AHS. Today, Sarah Paulson appears in the newest Netflix hit, Run. During her time promoting the film, Paulson stopped by Jimmy Kimmel where she shared a story about being snubbed by none other than Friends alumn, Matthew Perry.

Sarah Paulson Snubbed By Matthew Perry?
Sarah Paulson made her on-screen debut back in 1997 in the feature film, Levitation. Although it wasn't the biggest part, it was clear enough to catapult the actress to A-list status.
Paulson later became one of the biggest stars to grace the American Horror Story franchise, written by the talented Ryan Murphy. In 2020, Sarah landed the lead on the hit series, Ratched, where she plays the role of Nurse Ratched alongside Cynthia Nixon, Sharon Stone, and Finn Wittrock.
In addition to her success on the small screen, Sarah has been in films such as Glass, 12 Years A Slave, and Ocean's 8, which she appeared in with fellow co-star, Sandra Bullock, with whom she reunited with in the Netflix hit, Bird Box in 2018.
Well, prior to her landing just about every role there is, Sarah wasn't always a hot commodity! During her most recent visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Paulson shared a story where she was once snubbed by Matthew Perry at a "make-out" party.
After having been invited by the late, Carrie Fisher to attend a party as a writer, Gore Vidal's home, where others including Queen Latifah, Matthew Perry, and Shirley Maclaine were in attendance.
Sarah explained how the party utilized a game where you'd pick a name out of a hat and you'd have to kiss whoever you picked.
“I didn’t see anyone make out," Paulson began. "But there was a hat with names in it, and you were supposed to make out with whomever you pulled out of the hat."
The star went on to reveal that Matthew Perry has picked out her name, however, he left the room immediately after doing so. Jimmy Kimmel was quick to ask how she knew Perry had picked her, and Sarah wasted no time answering.
“Because I saw him. He was like, ‘Oh, well…’ And he was like, ‘I got you.’ And I was like, ‘Uh, well let’s (do) that kiss.’ And he was like, ‘No,'" Paulson said.
Who Is Sarah Paulson Dating?
Although Paulson didn't get a kiss from Perry that night, the two would find themselves locking lips during their time together on the TV series, Sunset Strip, which ran from 2006 to 2007.
Today, Paulson remains happily together with her girlfriend and fellow actress, Holland Taylor, whom she's been with since 2015!
Although the duo met roughly 15 years ago, says Good House Keeping, Sarah was in a relationship at the time with her ex-girlfriend, Cherry Jones.
