American model Hunter Schafer's life has changed drastically since she was cast to play Jules Vaughn on HBO's Euphoria. The series gave Zendaya (who plays Rue) her historic first Emmy, which made her the youngest actor to win in the drama category.
The first season premiered on HBO back in 2019, but filming on the second was delayed indefinitely after the pandemic rendered studios across Hollywood incapable of continuing filming. To keep the story going, creator Sam Levinson worked on two special episodes, each focused on the characters of Zendaya and Hunter, Rue and Jules.
While Zendaya's episode premiered in December, Hunter's special (which she co-wrote) released yesterday. To promote the special and engage in conversation with the large fanbase of the show, Hunter Schafer took over Euphoria's Twitter handle to have a Q&A session.
She gushed over working with Zendaya, share her favourite scene to film and revealed how it felt to write an episode and not just star in it!

The actors share a close friendship both on and off-screen, and Hunter had a great experience working with her on Euphoria.
"Zendaya is the f***ing best, and so talented, and genuinely one of the loveliest people I have ever met and come to know," she said in the video.
"It is a dream to work alongside her and develop these characters and the story together. It's so special."
The actor also spilled on writing the episode with Sam Levinson, saying that it was incredible to see the "what ifs" they'd been imagining transform into reality during post production, by becoming "not ifs".
This Is Hunter's Favorite Scene of Rue and Jules
A fan asked Hunter what her favorite scene of Rules (Rule and Jules) was. She said, "There are so many...but I think it's a really small moment in the Jules special when Rue is injecting Jules' oestrogen for her."
The actor shared that she thought it was "a beautiful little moment" which "captured their unique love."
"It was so cute," said Hunter.
