Tensions between Scott Disick and The Kardashians were heightened after he split from Kourtney Kardashian in 2015. Recently, Scott has reportedly been "iced" out of the Kardashian-Jenner family events and has been appearing on their reality show less and less. Kris Jenner has defended her daughter's former partner and explained that despite their rocky relationship over the years, she would never exclude him from the family.

Kourtney dated Scott on and off between 2005 and 2015, appearing in every season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and a number of spin-off series involving the family. Despite years of ups and downs, Kourtney and Scott finally split for good in 2015 when photos of Scott partying with another woman surfaced alongside a range of problems in connection to Scott's alcohol issues.

A source told Entertainment Tonight that Scott and Kourtney "are not as friendly as they used to be." The insider told the outlet: "He tries to be respectful and give her space, while also being there for her and the family."

When it was reported by ScreenRant that Scott Disick had been excluded from Kardashian-Jenners trips, Kris denied the rumors in a 2022 Instagram comment.

In a People Magazine article, the outlet reports that the momager responded to an Instagram post by Paper Magazine claiming Scott had been "excommunicated" from the famous family.

Kourtney had previously expressed that she felt Scott "got away with bad behavior" because of his closeness to the family.

As time went on, and they broke up, things healed between Scott and the family.

In August 2022, Kris Jenner opened up about how much Scott meant to her as a family. "I love Scott ... And Scott will always be a part of our family. He's the father of my grandchildren and he's just ... my kid," she said on a 2023 episode of The Kardashians.

Has Scott Disick Been Excluded From The Kardashian Family?

Scott Disick was always an integral part of the Kardashian family, no matter the issues they were going through in their relationship. Since their split and Kourtney Kardashian married Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, Scott has struggled to find his place within the Kardashian-Jenners clan.

Scott admitted he felt left out in the first season of Hulu's The Kardashians, which premiered when Kourtney and Travis were engaged. The family threw a barbecue and decided not to invite Kourtney's former partner, with whom she shares three children.

"Feeling left out and not being told anything is super hurtful, especially when I don't have another family to go to," Scott confessed on the reality show. He added that moving on from having romantic feelings for Kourtney was "probably one of the most difficult things in my life."

Kourtney was left heartbroken in July 2024 when her eldest son, Mason, chose to shun the annual family vacation and stay with his father.
