Florence officials have reportedly issued a stern warning to the couple, urging them to adhere to the regulations. This latest caution follows a recent incident where the high-profile couple ventured into Florence for a provocative photoshoot, drawing widespread criticism.
Bianca Censori was spotted parading through the city streets in what many deemed as revealing attire, showing a blatant disregard for Italy's public indecency laws.
Italian Officials Have Warned Kanye And Bianca to Follow The Rules
In contrast, Kanye West opted to wear a black mask that concealed his face, a choice that may have run afoul of Italy's domestic terrorism laws, which prohibit face coverings for security reasons.
Simultaneously, the city's tourism bureau emphasized the importance of respecting Italy's laws. In a statement, the bureau said, "Florence is not a beach establishment - your clothing (and behavior) must be decent,' and any breaches are punishable by a 500 Euro fine."
Moreover, one of the bureau’s senior official, Andrea Giordani, directly called out the rapper new partner, urging them to obey local laws.
"I'd like to remind Kanye and his wife that they have broken the code of Enjoy and Respect Florence,” he said. "We remind them of the code of Enjoy and Respect Florence - it reminds holiday-makers to remember what are the wrong behaviours but also what are the 'good practices' to live the city correctly and better organise your stay."
"Only in this way will it be possible to guarantee the civil coexistence and the protection of the rights of each of us, respecting the environment, the artistic heritage and the identity of Florence, a city that was the cradle of the Renaissance and is a UNESCO World Heritage site,” he went on.
Kanye Is Accused Of Breaking Pubic Indecency And Anti-Terrorism Laws
For now, Kanye hasn’t directly responded to the latest controversy, but he’s been causing quite the stir when traveling abroad with Bianca as he reportedly prepares for a comeback.
A police investigation was reportedly launched after the couple were caught in an indecent position while using a water taxi, with Ye’s buttock completely exposed for locals to see. They’ve also dressed in risqué outfits numerous times, violating Italy’s decent laws, while Kanye’s recurring head coverings are apparently against the country’s anti-terrorism measures.
Wearing items that obstruct personal identification is prohibited under anti-terrorism and public order laws, with violators subject to fines of up to 2,000 Euros.
