A week after Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy was arrested for domestic violence, he issued a statement on his Instagram that said he was going to make serious changes in his life. "I am committed to making meaningful changes in my life. I am taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being present for my loved ones," his message read.
As the arrest made headlines, it was surprising that not many of his VPR cast members spoke out. It appeared that they were respecting James' girlfriend, Ally Lewber's request for privacy.
However, the two women that immediately shared a statement were his two exes—Kristen Doute and Rachel "Raquel" Leviss. Who else has since broken their silence since his arrest for domestic violence?

Scheana Shay Broke Her Silence After Respecting Ally Lewber's Request For Privacy
Three weeks after James' arrest for domestic violence, his former co-star, Scheana Shay, shared a lengthy message regarding his arrest. Taking to her Scheananigans podcast, the reality TV star said that she remained silent because she was "respecting Ally's privacy." Scheana added that James' girlfriend was "going through enough right now."
"So I have spoken to Ally. I check in with her often. I always have. But I know it seems like if I stay silent, you all somehow think I support his behavior, which I absolutely do not," the star shared.
Scheana then addressed what she knew about how James acted with his girlfriends because of what his ex-fiance, Rachel "Raquel" Leviss, had told her in the past. "Obviously, I was very close with Raquel for years. And while she always told me that James was never physically abusive, as we all know, abuse isn't limited to just physical." She continued, "And ultimately it led to her exiting that relationship."
Towards the end of her message, Scheana shared that she hoped that his arrest was a wake-up call for him to get the right help.
"I do hope that James views this as a rock bottom moment and is serious about just committing to a healing plan versus just seeing this is something that's gonna, like, ruin the world tour or residency or whatever."
"I know he wants those things for himself and he needs to give himself the proper tools to deal with his trauma that doesn’t involve projecting it on to others," she said.
After James' arrest, Ally took to Instagram where she shared that she was "OK," but asked for "privacy during this time." As a result of his arrest, James was removed from his DJ residency at LIV Nightclub in the Fontainbleau hotel in Las Vegas.

James Kennedy's Messiest Moments On Vanderpump Rules
From one-liners to drunken benders, James Kennedy has to be one of the messiest cast members on Bravo's Vanderpump Rules.
Lala Kent Reached Out To Ally
During an Amazon Live, Lala Kent was asked if she had spoken to James, who fans remember she used to hook up with while appearing on VPR. The mom of two detailed that while she had not talked to James, she did reach out to Ally.
"I have spoken with Ally. I checked in on her and she wrote me a text back. That's all I'm really going to share on that topic."
When someone asked Lala what she thought about James and Ally, the reality star replied, "I don't have many thoughts."
Not to sound cynical, Lala shared that she doesn't necessarily put too much focus on other people's relationships as she has her own life with her children to focus on. However, she did clarify, "When something happens in someone else’s relationship, you first and foremost want to make sure, like, ‘Hey, how are you doing? Are you OK? I’m here if you need me.'"
She added, "But beyond that, like, I really don’t really sit and think about anybody else’s relationship or have many thoughts on someone else’s relationship because I’m too caught up in what’s going on in my own household.'"

Both James' Exes, Kristen Doute And Rachel Leviss Spoke Out Shortly After His Arrest
The two former Vanderpump Rules stars to immediately sound off after James' arrest were both of his exes, Kristen and Rachel. Kristen dated James between 2014-2015, while appearing on the show. Although they were very much into one another at the start of their relationship, it turned toxic towards the end.
Fans will recall when James once spit on Kristen's apartment door after a fight and the pair had an intense and drunken argument at Scheana's wedding.
Kristen took to Instagram and reposted a news story about James' arrest. She also wrote, "Finally."
According to Page Six, Kristen believed that James had used her to get on the Bravo show. In 2022, she detailed that he was physically abusive towards her.
James was then in a very committed relationship with Rachel which began in 2016. Rachel stood by his side while multiple women claimed that had slept with the DJ. She even remained faithful to him when he would rage text her and call her inappropriate names. The two were engaged in 2021, but by the end of Season 9, they called it quits.
After his arrest, Rachel reposted an article by TMZ with the headline: "James Kennedy DV [domestic violence] Arrest Was a Misunderstanding!!!! Gf Ally Standing By DJ." Above the article title, Rachel wrote, "The amount of times I convinced myself that the abuse I endured by James Kennedy Georgiou was a 'misunderstanding' is sickening."
In addition, Rachel has an ongoing lawsuit against Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval for revenge porn following a video Ariana discovered that led to her split with Tom. In the lawsuit, Rachel is also suing James for his "abusive behavior." "Kennedy would regularly berate Leviss, falsely accuse her of cheating, and act in a generally unhinged manner," a portion of the lawsuit read.

Lisa Vanderpump Has Remained Quiet
Fans are finding it a total slap in the face that Lisa Vanderpump has remained silent since James' arrest. Throughout the show, viewers could see that Lisa had a soft spot for the DJ. She often fired him for his alcohol outbursts and unwanted behavior, but he would always find himself back at SUR restaurant.
At the Season 11 reunion, which would be the last time fans got to see the OGs together before the announcement of a total reboot, Lisa shared that she was the closest to James. When host Andy Cohen asked the former RHOBH star, "Lisa, whose journey has surprised you the most as you look around this room?" She stated:
"The person that I've always been the most invested in and has broken my heart, has made me cry, made me laugh, who I speak to so often, and I'm so, so close to, is James Kennedy."
However, with such a close connection with James, fans are finding it odd that Lisa isn't speaking out. In fact, Lisa was always the voice of reason for the reality star.
