An inter-franchise Bravo war has been raging between Flipping Out star Jeff Lewis and Real Housewives Of New York City personality Brynn Whitfield.

As we've recently reported, RHONY fans are somewhat starved for spice, prompting none other than Bethenny Frankel to take the reboot of the reality TV OG to task in a since-deleted TikTok rant.

Bethenny joked that "30 people in the country" had tuned in to the new RHONY, and decried what she effectively described as a newer, blander generation of the franchise:

"Saturday morning, firing a random shot, I have seen enough videos of people saying Real Housewives is unwatchable, it is a disaster ...

"So this is gonna be a hot take, and surprising, but justice for [original RHONY cast members] Sonja [Morgan], Dorinda [Medley], Luann [de Lesseps] and Ramona [Singer], because they were ride or die."

Bethenny might have a point, but the ongoing acrimony between Jeff and Brynn has given fans some drama to pore over.

For context, Jeff and Brynn have been taking shots at one another for well over a year now, in a beef that kicked off when Erin Lichy went on his show last year.

Back on November 12, Jeff appeared on Watch What Happens Live, and spoke about Brynn (along with other Real Housewives stars).

Bravo shared a clip of Jeff's remarks, and paraphrased what he had to say:

"During 'BravOH No They Didn’t,' Jeff Lewis says he was initially surprised to see how much his interview with Erin Lichy provoked Brynn Whitfield on The Real Housewives of New York City, but realized that Brynn concocted her own narrative and heard what she wanted to hear.

"Jeff also says Heather Gay has been acting like a pigeon on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and he is on Bronwyn Newport’s side."

Jeff clearly has opinions to share on the Real Housewives Cinematic Universe, and EW hilariously described him as "something of a Greek chorus for the Housewives franchise."

The outlet explained that Housewives often appear on Jeff's SiriusXM show, in something of a reality TV feedback loop:

"Many a Housewife has visited Lewis' show to dish the dirt and get a little messy, with clips of said messiness inevitably making their way onto the shows themselves — and stirring up further trouble."

The most recent round of barbs between Brynn and Jeff were again instigated on an episode of Watch What Happens Live.

Brynn joined Kathy Hilton on WWHL on December 3, and Andy raised the issue of remarks Jeff had made about her, around one minute into the clip below:

In a segment called "Defend Your Actions," the guests were asked to defend or not defend things they'd said or done, and the question went back to Erin's appearance on Jeff's show in August 2023.

Andy asked Brynn if she wanted to defend "being upset with Erin [Lichy]" over remarks made by Jeff, and Brynn declined to defend her actions.

Brynn's ire toward Jeff comes down to specific allegations that he made, both in 2023 and on WWHL, about how she affords her lifestyle, implying that she likely has an arrangement with a man — also known as a "sugar daddy."

Jeff later walked back his remarks a tiny bit, asserting he "never said she was an escort."

In the December 3 WWHL episode, the RHONY reunion came up, and Brynn said she was "excited" about it, but that she'd been lying low:

"I'm excited, I’m energized. I have been quiet, on purpose. A lady doesn’t wrestle with pigs."

After clarifying that she wasn't calling her RHONY friends "pigs," she added:

Jeff Lewis is a pig. I am ready to clear the air on many, many things.

Unsurprisingly, Jeff tackled Brynn's latest comments on his SiriusXM show.

On Thursday, December 5, he shot back:

"I’m not that affected by [Brynn] calling me a pig. I just find it interesting because I feel like if I were to call someone a pig, there would be major backlash and consequences. I also didn’t feel like it was a very intelligent response."

He continued, opining that Brynn wasn't "a lady," adding:

"I think she acts like an oversexed teenager on that show, and that’s what I have said ... she flirts with other people’s spouses, and partners, and parents. This is all I have said. This is what I have noticed. I don’t like [Brynn's] schtick."

Jeff twice said Brynn comes off as "very desperate for attention," and she doesn't seem to have responded to his latest volley — yet.
