Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah is currently incarcerated, but she recently received some good news — namely, that her sentence has again been reduced, moving her release date forward by a little over a year.

Back in December, we reported that Jen had been receiving letters from another reality TV personality, Mob Wives' Renee Graziano.

In that article, we noted that at the time of publication, Jen's anticipated release was a few years away:

"Jenn was ultimately sentenced to six and a half years in prison (78 months), and began serving it in February 2023 — her sentence was later reduced, and she is expected to be released in December 2027."

We also touched on the initial terms of her sentencing.

Jen entered into a plea bargain in July 2022, and the United States Department Of Justice (DOJ) issued a press release about her subsequent conviction:

"Shah, 48, of Park City, Utah, pled guilty [on July 11, 2022] to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing through which she victimized 10 or more persons over the age of 55, which carries a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison."

In October, we noted that Jen's prison sentence had already been shortened twice:

"[An] article revealed that Jen's sentence had been reduced for the second time in a short period. E! News' article revealed that Jen's sentence was reduced by a year only one month after she initially received it.

"Then, the outlet revealed that her sentence had been reduced by a further eight months before they published their report."

Until the latest update to Jen's sentence, she was slated for release in December 2027.

Jen is serving her sentence at Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan, in Texas.

On Wednesday, January 15, Page Six was first to report a reduction to Jen's sentence, citing a federal prison inmate database:

"The incarcerated 'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' alum is now set to be released from Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Texas on Nov. 3, 2026, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ inmate database."

Deadline also picked the story up from changes to the database.

The outlet also quoted Jen's statement on social media before she surrendered to serve her sentence in February 2023:

"I am surrendering to serve a sentence in a federal prison today. It is the price I must pay for the bad decisions I made. People got hurt because of my decisions.

"While incarcerated, I will work to make amends and reconcile with the victims of my crime."

After the previous reduction of her sentence, Jen was slated for release on December 19, 2027 — when her sentence was reduced for a third time, that date changed to November 3, 2026.
