As a late addition to the show, it is still unclear whether adding Jenn Tran to the Dancing With The Stars Season 33 cast was the right call.

Despite being a fan favorite, it might have hindered her much-needed healing journey after her devastating Bachelorette breakup ...

For those who need a refresher, just moments before the Dancing With The Stars Season 33 cast was announced, Jenn concluded her journey on The Bachelorette Season 21, where she got engaged to Devin Strader and became the first leading lady to pop the question.

How iconic is that?

Alas, things quickly took a turn for the worse during the “After The Final Rose” television special, when Jenn revealed to the live studio audience that Devin had recently called off their engagement, breaking up over the phone and telling her that he never actually loved her.

To make matters much worse, he even followed fellow Bachelor Nation member (and Jenn's ex-friend) Maria Georgas on Instagram just moments after their breakup.

Seemingly doing some damage control after putting Jenn through hell and back (for lack of a better descriptor), ABC offered her a spot on Dancing With The Stars Season 33, which she obviously accepted, pulling her from "After The Final Rose" to Good Morning America to meet her professional dance partner, Sasha Farber, for the first time.

Despite coming about so abruptly, Jenn and Sasha developed some undeniable on-screen and off-screen chemistry that has really helped them in the competition, coasting their way to the final seven with some impressive scores.

Jenn and Sasha's scores are as follows:

  • DWTS Premiere — Cha Cha to “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus (19/30)
  • “Oscars Night” — Tango to “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)” from The Great Gatsby (19/30)
  • “Soul Train Night” — Viennese Waltz to “Fallin'” by Alicia Keys (31/40)
  • “Hair Metal Night” — Paso Doble to “The Final Countdown” by Europe (31/40)
  • “Dedications Night” — Foxtrot to “The Archer” by Taylor Swift (32/40)
  • “Disney Night” — Rumba to “Kiss The Girl” from The Little Mermaid (24/30)
  • "Halloween Nightmares Night — Contemporary to "vampire" by Olivia Rodrigo (28/30)

The duo earned their first 10 during "Halloween Nightmares Night" on Tuesday (October 29).

Unfortunately, it was not enough to keep them in the competition, resulting in Jenn and Sasha's untimely departure from the show.

After walking away with some great friendships and some great memories, Entertainment Weekly asked Jenn shortly after her elimination if she believes Dancing With The Stars was a major step in her healing journey.

Unfortunately, the New Jersey native believes it was simply a "distraction" instead, delving into the details in an interview.

Jenn Believes DWTS Hindered Her Much-Needed Healing Journey

When asked the above question, Jenn sang like a bird:

"I'm going to be real. This is what I was afraid of. I was like, 'I'm distracting myself.'

"So, we'll see. I am human and I'm processing."

Nevertheless, Jenn is "coming out of [the competition] with my friends and family and amazing memories," even though her healing journey may have been put on pause:

"I wanted to win, so I'm sad, obviously, but also very happy. I'm so grateful that we got to make the memories that we made and to be able to get that first 10 was incredible.

"I am very proud of myself. I didn't even know that I could do the things that I've done. It just feels great to end with a bang."

To conclude the conversation, Jenn reiterated that she's "a glass-half-full kind of girl," hopeful about what the future will hold.

Could this be teasing her rumored relationship with Sasha?

The only way to see where things go from here is to connect with the reality television personality on Instagram (@jenntran) and TikTok (@jenntranx).

Although it will not be Jenn and Sasha, we still don't know who will take home the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy — with the show's 500th episode approaching, the remainder of Season 33 is certain to be sensational.
