Jenn Tran And Sasha Farber Are Finally 'Officially Dating'

According to a new report, former Bachelorette star Jenn Tran and her Dancing With The Stars partner Sasha Farber are "officially dating."

Over the past few months, we've covered the apparent showmance between Jenn and Sasha, one which has confounded fans at every turn.

In early September, Jenn's season of The Bachelorette ended in tears, betrayal, and fan rage, after Devin Strader broke her sweet and trusting heart on national television.

Everyone was livid.

That finale night – and perhaps in an effort to stave off fan unrest – we learned Jenn was joining Season 33 of Dancing With The Stars, so reality TV fans didn't have to say goodbye to her just yet.

Jenn has been incredibly popular for being generally a ray of sunshine, and for having a positive attitude — and on October 11, we published our first piece speculating that Jenn and Sasha were into each other romantically.

On October 31, Jenn and Sasha appeared in a TikTok post, and it strongly implied the duo were in a relationship ... as in, there was really no other way to interpret it.

Then, Jenn said she wasn't sure if DWTS helped or hurt when it came to processing that nightmare with Devin, and a DWTS vs. Devin brawl broke out on Instagram; Sasha got involved.

On November 15, we published an inadvertently exemplary article about how confusing the Jenn and Sasha situation was then — on a podcast, Jenn said that Sasha "would freak out" about the "boyfriend label" ... and she also said they were probably going to move in together. Same interview.

Jenn and Sasha continued to be coy and mysterious, but they apparently spent all of Thanksgiving together, visiting Alfonso Ribeiro's house for his annual DWTS dinner, and helping feed the homeless at the Midnight Mission.

Earlier this month, it looked like Sasha maybe, possibly got a little irked when Jenn talked about Bachelorette contestant Sam M., but there was also a strong possibility he just wanted her to get off TikTok and go walk the dogs with him. The ambiguity was consistent af.

It was honestly like reading tea leaves with these two, who most recently took a trip to Vancouver to see the end of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour.

During that visit, a stealthy fan snapped a pic of Jenn and Sasha holding hands, and even that was hard to parse, because sometimes friends hold hands, too.

That brings us to today's news — which, in keeping with Jenn and Sasha's vibe, is still a little ambiguous.

The Jenn And Sasha Update Came From An Unnamed Source

On Wednesday, December 18, US Magazine published "DWTS’ Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber Are Officially Dating (Exclusive)," and it seemed like fans had finally learned the truth about the "are they or aren't they?" couple.

To be fair to fans, all this interest is not even really because of Jenn's bad breakup, it's because she and Sasha have amazing chemistry, and because they're quite obviously happy spending time together.

Then there's the US article — US is a legacy celebrity and entertainment magazine that long pre-dates the internet, having been established in print in 1977. It's older than Kourtney Kardashian.

And it was marked as an "exclusive," which suggests that the magazine's source is one verifiably close to the couple.

Irrespective of the identity of the tipster, they were also extremely brief and almost curt in their gossip-mongering, providing a quote of exactly five words:

Jenn and Sasha are dating.

The balance of the article was about Jenn and Sasha's "roommate status," and their obvious inseparable nature.

On Reddit's r/thebachelor, a fan shared the article and wrote: "I know this is the worst kept secret because she basically moved in with him. I did not see this coming after AFR and the Devin saga, but I love this for her, however long it lasts."

Another fan proactively shut down any Jenn-shaming that might occur, reminding anyone who might pass judgment that Jenn's breakup occurred before the finale of The Bachelorette:

"To everyone saying she moved on too quickly, just a reminder that the actual timing behind the scenes is very different from when the show aired. Jenn’s season started filming on March 28, her & Devin got engaged mid May & he broke up with her at the end of July. They were literally engaged for 2 months & she moved on 2 months later. So I really don’t understand the judgement.

"I’m happy for them, as a DWTS fan Sasha truly has the best heart. I’ll be surprised if they work out long term though. Not only because she’s in PA school across the country but also because he got divorced in 2022 (I think?) & their age gap had a lot to do with their divorce."

Given that the news came through an anonymous source, we scouted Jenn's very active TikTok page for any further confirmation.

After the article was published, she shared a clip that certainly didn't contradict the claims, from her birthday party:

The very first comment read: "Soooo that US Weekly article [...]"

Other fans wanted to hear it from Jenn or Sasha directly, and several made comments to that effect.

On the other hand, some users were content with the article as a source, and one replied: "Wait [US Magazine] confirmed they are dating!!! You don’t have to wonder anymore."

Another kindly Jenn fan commented to chide whomever allegedly dished to a magazine on the couple's behalf:

"Just want to say I’m sorry us weekly published the piece and the source betrayed your trust :(

"I know you guys would’ve like to confirm it to the media yourselves. We support you ❤️@Jenn Tran[.]"

However, our favorite comment was this one, particularly because we all know Jenn's story has a "bad guy" in it:

Your story is a full blown Hallmark movie

On another clip from Jenn's birthday, one person illustrated how Jenn's appeal transcends franchises, writing:

"I never watch the Bachelorette. I have fallen in love with your personality through DWTS. I hope 2025 is your best year yet sweet girl."

Although neither Jenn nor Sasha have yet to directly confirm they're "official," they haven't denied it either, and Jenn shared the lovey-dovey TikTok post from her birthday after the piece was published.

Ultimately, it wouldn't be Jenn and Sasha if there weren't some ambiguity around their "officialness," which in and of itself is kind of cute.
