Dancing With The Stars duo Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber were spotted at The Midnight Mission's Thanksgiving Street Fair in Los Angeles, helping to serve the homeless and other vulnerable communities.
Jenn and Sasha have been the subject of intense speculation with respect to the nature of their obviously very close relationship, and the pair have given fans mixed signals since they were first romantically linked.
Jenn joined DWTS hot on the heels of another huge reality TV event, the finale of her season of The Bachelorette, and she came into the show nursing a very publicly broken heart — thanks to her universally reviled ex-fiance, Devin Strader.
Of course, there's a slight lag between filming and airing reality shows, and Jenn and Devin's breakup was not quite as fresh as it would seem.
Her DWTS casting was announced on the same night ABC smacked us all in the face with the horrific finale of The Bachelorette.
Jenn was paired with Sasha, and the couple were voted off during "Halloween Nightmares Night," much to the dismay of her many fans and supporters.
But right after that, Jenn shared a TikTok post suggesting she and Sasha had found love on DWTS — like, this was not something fans read too much into or imagined.
In the post, Jenn and Sasha embraced, and an audio to which Jenn partially lip-synced seemed to reference her ugly, high-profile breakup from Devin:
"When one door closes, another one opens, but we often look so long and regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us."
Pretty self-explanatory, right?
After that, DWTS pro Ezra Sosa left a snarky comment on an Instagram post by Jenn's ex, Devin — and Sasha joined in later, amplifying the notion he and Jenn were an item.
That's what we thought, too, until Jenn went on a podcast and said Sasha would "freak out" if she called him her boyfriend, though she also said she expected to live with him in the very near future.
Ultimately, all of those things left us certain of one thing: "Sasha" is short for "Alexander," and it's a unisex name.
Jenn and Sasha were seen together at Alfonso Ribeiro's now-annual DWTS Thanksgiving feast on Thursday, but the couple also allocated some of their holiday to helping the homeless.
Jenn And Sasha 'Wanted To Give Back'
The Midnight Mission hosts an annual Thanksgiving Street Fair, and the organization's page for the annual event says:
"This Thanksgiving, help us make a difference for our most vulnerable neighbors. At The Midnight Mission’s Thanksgiving Day Celebration, dedicated volunteers serve over 2,500 homeless and near-homeless individuals and families, providing them with the comfort and warmth of a traditional Thanksgiving meal."
On Thursday, November 29, Sasha shared an Instagram Reel of their visit to the Midnight Mission.
In it, he and Jenn are standing next to Jennifer Garner, who is also on hand to serve food:
Incidentally, The Midnight Mission shared a Reel featuring Jennifer Garner's ex, Ben Affleck, who was also present.
In a caption for his Reel, Sasha wrote:
"Happy [Thanksgiving] everyone, woke up in the morning, and wanted to give back, The organization called the Midnight Mission, has been doing wonderful things for the homeless in Los Angeles[.]
"So happy we could visit and help and feed the homeless this Thanksgiving! @themidnightmission @jenntran @edwardgelhaus @jennifer.garner"
A fan shared images of Jenn and Sasha's charitable endeavor on Reddit's r/dancingwiththestars, and fellow fans were really happy to see them there.
At least one also expressed their gratitude to DWTS' casting department for "opening the door" to whatever is going on with Jenn and Sasha:
"Sho[ut] out to casting agents and DWTS for bringing these two people into each others lives (as well as ours). I love them[.]"
Overall, fans were moved that Jenn and Sasha were on hand to help, and one wrote: "Gosh I freaking love them. They deserved to make the finale."
