Jim and Pam Halpert became one of television's most beloved couples on The Office, and Jenna Fischer delighted viewers when she admitted in a 2016 interview that a part of her really was "in love" with her co-star John Krasinski while filming the hit sitcom.
Rumors have circulated for years that Jenna secretly still wears her Office engagement ring to this day, despite being married to screenwriter Lee Kirk in real life. Jenna finally addressed these claims on Instagram, and fans may not like what she had to say.
Jenna Denied Rumors That She Still Wears Jim's Ring
Jenna admitted shortly after The Office's 2013 finale that she kept the engagement ring Jim Halpert gave her character on the show, and fans have wondered ever since if she still has it on.
One of her Instagram followers finally asked Jenna directly about the rumor that she still wears John Krasinski's ring, and her response likely wasn't what fans of Jim and Pam's relationship were hoping for.
"What a terrible rumor! Of course not! I wear the ring my actual husband of 10 years gave me," she wrote.
She Has Admitted That She Was In Love With John Krasinski
Rumors about Jenna Fischer's potential real-life feelings for John Krasinski started circulating more frequently after her 2016 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, when she admitted to some "real chemistry" with her former co-star.
The Iconic Duo Hit It Off Immediately
John echoed Jenna's remarks about their great chemistry while promoting A Quiet Place Part II earlier this year.
John told Yahoo! Entertainment that he still remembers auditioning for The Office, and "just knew" as soon as he saw Jenna in the crowded room of actresses reading for the role of Pam Beesly that she'd land the part. John then went out of his way to ensure he got to read alongside Jenna, and their instant rapport helped both of them get cast.
"I thought, ‘My god, if I audition with this girl, I might have a chance,'" he said.
