Now that it has been decades since Jeff Probst began hosting Survivor, there have been lots of seasons for fans to rank and many fantastic players. On top of that, Survivor has been around so long that new fans have to figure out which seasons to watch first.
Back when the beloved reality TV show was so young that it hadn't been long since the first player was medically evacuated, Jenna Morasca rose to fame. Known as Survivor's sixth winner, Jenna went on to have several amazing experiences after the show. One of the most astounding things Jenna went on to do was have an extremely embarrassing wrestling career after Survivor.
The Former Survivor Winner Jenna Morasca Had An Embarrassing Wrestling Career
In 2003, fans watched Jenna Morasca win Survivor: The Amazon which was the show's sixth season. The following year, Jenna returned to national television when she briefly played during Survivor: All-Stars before quitting to be with her dying mother.
After Jenna left Survivor: All-Stars, fans had every reason to believe that may have been the end of her time on national TV. However, Jenna would wind up back in the spotlight for an incredibly unexpected reason.
In 2019, Jenna took her fans by surprise when she launched a new career in the spotlight. At that time, Jenna began working for a company called TNA Wrestling, which was also known as Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.
In 2005, the Survivor villain Jon "Jonny Fairplay" Dalton was hired by TNA Wrestling. Mostly seen as a manager, Jonny Fairplay made a handful of non-wrestling appearances before disappearing from the company.

Why Fans Supporting Survivor’s Janet Carbin After The Horrible Dan Spilo Scandal Made Her ‘Uncomfortable’
Survivor Janet Carbin didn't know how to handle the support she got following the disgusting fallout of the Dan Spilo scandal.
When Jenna first began making TNA Wrestling appearances, she appeared as a manager. In that role, Jenna appeared alongside the WWE Hall of Famer, Kevin Nash as his manager.
Survivor's Jenna Morasca appeared in TNA Wrestling alongside a slew of extremely successful performers. For example, Jenna rubbed elbows with the WWE Hall of Famers Mick Foley, Sting, Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Booker T, and Scott Steiner.
Since Kevin's character was part of a group called the Main Event Mafia, Jenna also became associated with the group.
In her role as Kevin Nash's manager, Jenna's TNA Wrestling involvement was mostly unremarkable. However, the decision was made to have Jenna wrestle a match against a performer who was known as Sharmell.
Jenna's 2009 wrestling match has been uploaded on YouTube for fans to see how bad and embarrassing it was. A match that went far too long, it is hard to watch how awkward Jenna was in the ring as she wasn't able to convincingly pull off even the most basic parts of a wrestling match
In 2023, someone on the r/SquaredCircle subreddit asked the other wrestling fans what the worst match in history was. Even though it had been almost 15 years since it took place, the response with the most upvotes named Jenna's match as the worst in wrestling history.
Wrestlers Were Honest About How Bad Jenna Morasca's Wrestling Career Was
In the years since Jenna Morasca vs Sharmell aired live on Pay-Per-View, several wrestlers who had some role in the match have commented on it. Without exception, those accomplished and successful wrestlers have been blunt about how embarrassing the match was.

Survivor’s Shirin Oskooi Was Horribly Bullied By A Tribemate, But Thinks The Show Still Needs To Find Bigger Personalities
Survivor’s Shirin Oskooi was treated horribly by her tribemates but thinks the show needs to still cast people with big personalities.
The most noteworthy example of a wrestler talking about Jenna's match is when Sharmell commented on it. After all, Sharmell was the person that Jenna wrestled in the match. A performer who has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, Sharmell has enjoyed a great deal of success in the business.
Sharmell is best remembered for her tenure in the WWE where she became known as Queen Sharmell.
While Sharmell was never famous for her wrestling matches, since she was a successful manager, her perspective on the match was fascinating. After all, in August 2024, Sharmell spoke about how she and Jenna were placed in an impossible situation when she was interviewed by Chris Van Vliet.
“Well, it was a match that in my opinion just really shouldn’t have happened because neither of us, especially Jenna, she had never had a match before. [She trained] for like a couple of days, not even a week, and that’s not on her. But you can’t train for a couple of days and be a wrestler. It just doesn’t happen like that. So just, you know, kind of was unfortunate, because I was by no means a ring general and then she had only been in the ring a couple of times. I’m not sure what it was all about but we did our best,"
Sharmell isn't the only wrestler who expressed their sympathy for the situation Jenna was put in.

'Survivor' Winner Nick Wilson Suffered One Of The Strangest Controversies In Reality TV History
'Survivor's' Nick Wilson was at the center of a strange and stunning scandal after he became a politician.

In 2009, Jenna Morasca vs. Sharmell was named the "Worst Worked Match of the Year" by Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
A co-founder of TNA Wrestling, the company that aired Jenna's match, Jeff clarified that he had no involvement in the decision to put her in the ring. The website 411 Mania quoted Jeff expressing a similar sentiment about how Jenna and Sharmell were placed in a no-win situation.
"Jenna — God bless Sharmell. I mean, you talk about being put in a horrible position. And Jenna, and I’m not raining about her, but she walked into a set of circumstances that she had no business being in, period. End of story.”
In November 2022, the legendary wrestling manager Dutch Mantell spoke about Jenna's match. During an episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Dutch revealed he was backstage during Jenna's match. As a member of TNA Wrestling's writing team at the time, Dutch found Jenna's match so embarrassing that he wanted his peers to know he wasn't responsible for it.
"It was the worst match I have ever seen. I was sitting (backstage) like this and saying, 'I hope nobody notices me.' When people looked at me, I went, 'I have nothing to do with it.' When they booked that match, I was like, 'Guys; I don't know about that.' They were like, 'We are gonna do it, can't be that bad,' It was worse than bad!"
The fact that a wrestling legend was so concerned about being associated with a match shows how bad it truly was.

Each week, they compete in challenges for resources, luxuries, or immunity — and each week, one person is voted out by their teammates, losing their chance at being the sole Survivor.
