Love Island USA brings together a group of attractive singles living in a tropical villa as they try and form romantic connections and see if sparks can turn into something real outside the show. But it's not all sunshine as unexpected twists and surprise arrivals, including new islanders, constantly test the strength of these budding relationships.

It's not uncommon for two islanders to form instant connections. This season, fans watched as Jeremiah Brown and Huda Mustafa couple up early on and stay committed to each other, choosing not to explore other connections. But over time, their relationship took a toxic turn, prompting America to vote for Jeremiah to recouple with someone new.

Now that he has been dumped from the villa by his fellow islanders, Jeremiah is finally opening up about his true feelings for Huda, and whether there's a chance they'll reconnect.

Jeremiah Brown's relationship with Huda Mustafa on Love Island USA has been one of the most talked-about moments on the show. The pair coupled up at the very start of the season, and as they appeared to really like one another, their decision to ultimately close off and not explore other people was ultimately their downfall.

Cracks in their relationship began to show as Huda appeared controlling, overbearing, and even intimidating to bombshells who walked into the villa and wanted to get to know Jeremiah. Meanwhile, other fans believed that Jeremiah was "love bombing" Huda. The pair would find themselves in several arguments (one that included a non-fully cooked pancake), and in a stunning twist, America voted for Jeremiah to recouple with bombshell Iris Kendall.

However, in yet another shocking moment, the islander guys made the decision to send Jeremiah home, even after he and Huda decided to call it quits. Before he left, Huda shared that she was sorry for how they turned out and it felt like a sincere goodbye.

Now that Jeremiah is out of the villa, he’s opened up in several interviews about his experience on the show, and whether there’s still a chance he and Huda could reconnect, especially if she leaves the island single. In a candid conversation with E! News, Jeremiah didn’t hold back when it came to sharing his true feelings

"Respectfully, no. She’s awesome and I wish her the best, but respectfully, not for me in the friendship or past that,” Jeremiah shared. "So no, I’m good.”

Jeremiah shared that he had watched a few episodes back and realized that he should have walked away from Huda sooner. "I got to watch some of the episodes back, and I was just like, ‘Run, run, get up.’ It was just some of the things she was saying, bro,'" he added.

Jeremiah echoed those sentiments during an appearance on the Chicks in the Office podcast. After watching the show back, he was stunned by some of the harsh things Huda said about him behind closed doors, things he hadn’t been aware of at the time.

"After watching it back and hearing some of the things she was saying that I wasn't even aware of—no, no, God, no. The stuff she was saying was too much for me," he admitted. Jeremiah added that the name-calling "affects me," and confessed he was genuinely "hurt" that someone he truly liked could treat him that way.

Love Island USA delivered a major twist this season by letting America vote on which bombshells should be coupled up. While it wasn’t a huge surprise to viewers that Jeremiah was paired with Iris—leaving Huda single and vulnerable—it definitely caught the islanders off guard. Huda took the recoupling as a sign that America wanted her to find someone who would treat her better. In reality, fans were rooting for Jeremiah to leave what they saw as a toxic relationship.

It wasn’t until he was voted out and returned to the real world that Jeremiah realized just how much support he had from viewers who wanted him to explore healthier connections.

In his conversation with Chicks in the Office podcast, Jeremiah shared that America voting for him to be with Iris was a wake-up call that he needed to leave his relationship with Huda. "When that happened, I already had a bunch of thoughts in my head. I liked Huda so much, I was like, we can fix this, we can fix this," he shared. "But when that happened, I was like, Ah, s*** .... maybe I need to like, totally leave this alone. When America chose that, I was like, okay, that was a big wake up call, it shook everything that I was thinking."

Despite being coupled with Iris, Jeremiah still cared for Huda. But, after a few more conversations with her, he knew that it continued to be a struggle to try and fix it.

In an Instagram post, Jeremiah also thanked fans for supporting him throughout his journey on the show. He captioned his post, "Feeling absolutely sensational coming back to all the love 😉 Can’t thank yall enough for the support! Excited to get back to reality but hanging with the fam first so see yall again real soon ❤️."

"I just want to say thank y'all. The amount of love and support I've been receiving and getting I could have never thought..." he began. "When I was in there, I thought I was getting fried ... thank you so much for the love, it truly means everything. I'm so glad y'all got to see the real me, and see me for who I am at the end of the show," Jeremiah shared.

Jeremiah's fans commented, expressing their admiration for him and wished that they got to see more of his personality shine before he was dumped from the villa. "You kept it real the whole time and it showed. Can’t wait to see what’s next for you. 🙂‍↕️," a comment read.

"We definitely love you Jeremiah!! America's got your back!!" Another fan wrote.

While Jeremiah is now back in the real world, Huda remains in the villa having met new islanders after Casa Amor. Time will only tell if she will form a new connection.
