Let's take a closer look.

Jerry Seinfeld Got A Lot Of Laughs On GMA After Revealing What Working With Hugh Grant On Unfrosted Was Really Like

Just a few days ago, Jerry Seinfeld was discussing his latest film, Unfrosted, on Good Morning America. The film is significant for Jerry given that he's making his debut as a director. During the interview, Seinfeld revealed that he came up with the script during the pandemic, in an effort to stay productive. Jerry admits the concept of the film started off as a joke, but later turned into an entire film.

The actor discussed the different aspects of working as a director, and that included what it was like working alongside Hugh Grant. The GMA panel got a kick out of Jerry's answer. He had high praise for Grant, while showing love for the actor's drinking skills. The comments got a big laugh.

He said, "Hugh Grant was the biggest thrill for me. I'm a giant fan of his. I'd never met him before. I like these English guys, with nice shoulders, and they know how to drink. They're funny and witty."

The moment takes place at the 4:30 mark, but the entire interview is worth the watch and very entertaining.

The two have said a lot about each other during the process. It seems like Grant was just as impressed by Seinfeld looking back at their time together in the film.

Hugh Grant Was Equally Impressed With Jerry Seinfeld

Speaking alongside EW, Hugh Grant said working with Jerry Seinfeld on Unfrosted was great. Grant appreciated that Seinfeld brought something different to the table. In the film, Grant plays Thurl Ravenscroft, the voice of Tony the Tiger.

Grant said about working with Jerry Seinfeld, "He's definitely grrreat. Jerry brings different things to the table. He's a brilliant comic, and he'd written a great script. He and his team are able to massage the scene and the whole time and come up with new jokes left, right, and center. He was lovely and very supportive of me."

Grant went on to describe his role in the film as a "tortured theater actor." He added, "It's very Paddington 2," Grant teased. "Perhaps too much. [Ravenscroft] was a very grand theater thespian who thought all this was very beneath him. So that's really the joke of the whole thing. I do appear once or twice as Tony the Tiger, but otherwise I'm this tortured theater actor."

The Netflix film is set for a release on May 3. The anticipation is clearly high given the stacked cast.

Jerry Seinfeld Told Jimmy Fallon Hugh Grant Was A Headache At First

"We had lots of fights. He’s a pain in the ass to work with. He’s horrible,” Seinfeld recalled. “He tells you before you work with him, ‘You’re gonna hate this.’ And he’s so right.”

Nonetheless, Jerry states that by the end of it, the two became close friends. In addition, Seinfeld once again made a comment about Grant's top tier drinking skills.

He tells Fallon, “We shot for 10 weeks, and that night that he and I had dinner — and we got drunk having dinner — that was the greatest night,” Seinfeld said. “Because he’s so cool and he’s that English thing, you know, that witty. He looks good in a jacket ... he’s one of those guys. I love those guys."

We can only imagine what the outings were like between Jerry and Hugh, along with the many stories that must've been shared between the two actors.
