Fallon And Seinfeld Are Far From The Only Celebs To Get Nervous Around Paul McCartney

Among the more entertaining stories about parting with Paul McCartney was revealed by Dave Grohl during his time on The Howard Stern Show. He told Howard Stern, "I can't imagine a more awkward conversation. So no, I would never. He walks around knowing he's Paul McCartney, so the first thing he does is diffuse that awkward tension. He knows how you feel, and he's considerate of that, so he brings it down."

Grohl continued, "Everything is cool and mellow, and you end up eating pizza and drinking wine. And don't end up talking about how the f*** did you write, Let It Be."

“It’s like one of those nightmares where you’re running backwards, always late,” he said. “I know this song. What the hell is this? And she was playing Best Of You. As if I weren’t high enough – that blew me into outer space! Taylor Swift, Best Of You, Paul McCartney… I lost my mind.”

“We were talking to Paul McCartney and I saw him not knowing how to talk to me,” Cyrus said. “Which, I don’t really know how to talk to Paul McCartney so it made me very comfortable because it made him more uncomfortable.”

Cyrus joked that it is a good way to start a conversation, "You could just be like ‘stop staring at my tits’ and then the convo keeps going.”

Certainly, a conversation Cyrus won't ever forget, and we assume it was a memorable one for McCartney as well, given the circumstances.
