Joe Rogan is known for his unapologetic comments on polarizing issues and controversial people. So when he shared his thoughts about equally opinionated YouTube star Trisha Paytas, it was a full-on war. In an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, comedian Ali Macofsky talked about Paytas' OnlyFans content. The content creator has always been candid about their sex life, including their past as an escort. They were said to be a "$50k-a-night" sex worker prior to becoming an online sensation worth $10 million. That's probably why Macofsky called them "savage." The comedian especially raved about Paytas' naked house tour which intrigued the host. But when shown a photo of the OnlyFans creator, Rogan was quick to react with disgust. Here's what really happened.

Joe Rogan Body-Shamed Trisha Paytas

Intrigued by Macofsky's description of Paytas, Rogan asked his team to show him a bikini photo of the OnlyFans star to "see how [they] would look naked." He took a quick look and said, "Yeah, you can keep that." The podcast host went on to body-shame Paytas and use the wrong pronouns in referring to them after they'd just come out as non-binary. The insults didn't stop there. "So, she is one of those extra-worded people who want a lot of attention," he said of the social media star. "So she is probably a good person to follow coz she is constantly putting out content."

Fans weren't happy about Rogan's comments on Paytas. They accused the podcaster of being "misogynistic," citing more instances where he made "sexist" comments towards women. Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Chelsea Peretti once called out the comedian for contributing to "sexism" in comedy. "If you're a male comedian one thing you can do is tell men to shut the f*** up when they are saying hateful s*** about women and not go on podcasts that are racist and sexist. You can also speak up for women getting attacked online for sticking up for themselves. Or ... total silence," the actress tweeted in reaction to Rogan's "boys' club" talk with regular guest Joey Diaz.

Trisha Paytas Clapped Back At Joe Rogan Saying He Has 'SDE'

Paytas was quick to react to Rogan's comments. Known for feuding with many online celebs like Charli D'Amelio, the content creator didn't hold back on dragging the podcast host. They posted an eight-minute YouTube video titled "dear Joe Rogan..." where they even thanked the comedian for "providing me with some video content today." Right off the bat, Paytas insulted Rogan by saying they didn't know him but they recalled him "really popping on Fear Factor when I was a kid." Then they called out the "pattern" of men commenting on women's appearances.

"This has been a pattern. Old, conventionally unattractive men … radiate small d*** energy. And once again, not a diss, a lot of people like small d****," said Paytas. "Not every woman is here to be pleasure for your eyeballs. Just for future reference, for people — attention trolls like myself that aren't me — you don't have to 'urgh' at somebody. Because chances are, even if they are the most beautiful person, maybe they already 'urgh' at themselves." The OnlyFans creator added that they "have heard Joe Rogan is highly intelligent" but that they "look at that and I’m like he has no intellect whatsoever, he can’t up with a wittier quip and you know if I’m not your type, you don’t have to say anything." The podcaster never responded to Paytas' viral clap-back.

What Fans Really Think Of Joe Rogan And Trisha Paytas' Feud

Netizens were divided about the whole feud. "This wasn't a roasting or some feud. He casually mentioned she wasn't attractive when someone else brought her up," wrote a Redditor. Many fans share the same thoughts. One even said that Paytas "is the first person to call herself fat or ugly, is completely open and honest about how she presents herself and her body, and is only responding to this comment because people are giving her attention." The YouTuber has long been accused of clout-chasing, leading others to warn Rogan against giving "problematic" internet stars a platform.

Many fans also sided with Paytas, though. "Joe Rogan looks like a manlet who has to work out to cover the lack of height," wrote another Redditor. Then some took a more neutral stance on the matter. "I don’t think anyone sucks for not liking the surface impression of Trisha," said a fan. "The surface of Trisha does suck. But once you realize there’s a troubled person underneath who’s working on bettering themselves you can empathize with them." Now, that's kind. But don't forget Paytas now uses the pronouns they/them.
