Netflix is home to some of the best shows on TV, and at this point, there is something for everyone on the streaming platform. It has given people a chance to discover shows from all over, including Peaky Blinders, a BBC series that is one of the best around.

At the moment, the series is gearing up for its sixth and final season. There are huge returns in store for season 6, and a rumored cameo could make things even sweeter. The season, however, will not include Jordan Bolger.

Bolger was given a huge career boost by being on the show, but sadly, he was not able to make it to the end of the line. Let's take a look at why Bolger departed the hit series.

Anyone that has taken the time to dive into the world of Peaky Blinders can attest to the fact that this has long been one of the best shows on television. The BBC product has been thrilling audiences since its debut back in 2013, and as it stands now, the series has just one season left to go.

Starring an unbelievably talented cast, which is led by Cillian Murphy, Peaky Blinders has been a breath of fresh air on the small screen. Whether someone has been watching it since day one or since last night, they can't help but have a deep appreciation for this exceptional period crime drama.

While the show may be coming to an end, it doesn't look like the larger story will be done for good. A spin-off has been confirmed, meaning that fans will have plenty of content to sink their teeth into whenever that hits the small screen. There are also whispers of a movie being made, as well.

The show has long featured an amazing cast, and Jordan Bolger left a lasting impression on fans thanks to his performance on the show.

Jordan Bolger Played A Isaiah Jesus On The Show

In 2014, Jordan Bolger made his debut on Peaky Blinders, and despite being a relative unknown, he was ready to leave a mark on the show.

To do so, he knew that he was going to have to put his background to good use as best as he could.

"I’ve done a bit of Taekwondo and kick boxing but actually that didn’t help, as screen fighting is so different. We had a really good fight coach. Watch out for me in episode four – I can’t say much about what happens but it’s explosive," he said.

Bolger did, in fact, leave a mark on the show, and fans quickly grew to appreciate what he was bringing to the table.

From 2014 to 2017, Jordan Bolger appeared in 13 episodes of Peaky Blinders. Fans would have loved for him to stick around for the long haul, but this was simply not in the cards for Bolger, who departed the show earlier than expected.

Jordan Bolger's Schedule Did Not Match 'Peaky Blinders'

So, why did Jordan Bolger leave Peaky Blinders behind? Unfortunately, it appears as though timing wound up being the culprit for his departure.

"Disappointingly it seems production aren’t able to work round my other commitments so as it stands I won’t be returning. Peaky/Isaiah has been a big part of my life, a great experience and I’ve met some amazing people but this one is out of my control," he wrote.

This news was disappointing for the fans, who had grown to enjoy what he was doing with his character.

Since leaving the show behind, Bolger has been on quite the run in entertainment. He has been featured on plenty of shows, including The 100 and The Book of Boba Fett, which just wrapped up its debut season.

Fortunately, being on The 100 gave Bolger experience in dealing with a large fandom, something that likely came into play after appearing in a Star Wars project.

"From the show, what I've learned is more about the fans. The 100 really opened my eyes to the world of fandom, how much of a community it is and really how pure it is. I think for me, that was my first experience of that world, actually. So to interact with people on Twitter and Instagram, to see how invested people were, that just gave me a new appreciation for fans of film and TV," said Bolger of being on The 100.
