Celebrity feuds always make for headline fodder, as people are fascinated by famous folks disliking one another. Chrissy Teigen has had notable feuds, Chris Brown and Kanye have beefed, and even Matt Damon has had some feuds. It's a silly thing, but people love a good beef.

On TV, there have been plenty of co-star feuds through the years, many of which come from hit shows. The Good Wife was a hit series in its prime, and it has been alleged that Julianna Margulies and Archie Panjabi didn't get along, even reaching a point where they filmed separately from one another.

Let's take a look at this alleged feud.

'The Good Wife' Was A Major Success

The Good Wife debuted in September 2009, and with stellar performers like Julianna Margulies, Archie Panjabi, and Christine Baranski on board, the show was able to make a name for itself in a flash. Quickly, CBS had another hit on its hands, and the show had a fantastic small-screen run.

For 7 seasons and over 150 episodes, The Good Wife entertained millions of fans each week. People simply couldn't get enough of the characters and their stories, and the stars of the show brought everything together brilliantly in each episode. Their chemistry on screen was unbeatable.

The successful show was a sensation at the height of its popularity, and people wanted more. So, the folks behind the scenes kicked off The Good Fight, a spin-off series, in 2017. Turns out, people love the project, and The Good Fight will be coming back for a sixth season in due time.

The cast and crew got to enjoy everything that came with the show's success, but behind the scenes, an alleged problem between two of the show's biggest stars was taking place.

Julianna Margulies And Archie Panjabi Allegedly Had Problems

For some time now, it has been rumored that there were major problems between Juliana Margulies and Archie Panjabi. Initially, this duo was working together frequently, but over time, there was a noticeable shift away from this dynamic, leading some to wonder what was keeping them apart.

Allegedly, it was Panjabi taking home an Emmy that ignited the problem.

According to Nine, "But despite the truce, fans noticed that after the 14th episode of Season 4, Margulies and Panjabi never appeared on screen together."

The site also noted that, "All through Season 5 and 6, the weird no-scenes-together dynamic continued until it was announced that Panjabi's character Kalinda would be leaving at the end of Season 6."

To make matters worse, their last scene together was only made possible by the duo using green screen and being away from one another. Margulies said that Panjabi's schedule did not permit her to be around for filming, but Panjabi took to social media to let her fans know that this was not the case.

This was several years back, and fans want to know where the pair stand today.

Both Julianna Margulies And Archie Panjabi Have Side-Stepped The Question

So, have things changed at all between the two performers? Well, through the years, both parties have remained relatively quiet about the entire thing.

When asked about her Emmy win starting a feud in 2020, Panjabi said, "I've said what I'm going to say. Let’s put it this way. We are living in a world where everybody wants to know everything. I completely understand why everyone asks about it. Everybody I meet asks me about it, in some roundabout way. I just feel like, I’m doing work because of that character. Before Kalinda, I was always coming in for a few lines and it was hard to get roles. If people always want to know what happened, OK, it’s a small price to pay for all the wonderful things that show has given me. It sounds diplomatic, but it’s how I feel."

As Panjabi said herself, this was a diplomatic response. Frankly, it did little to dispel any notion that there were problems between her and her co-star.

Margulies has had even less to say about the entire thing. At this point, we don't imagine either of them coming forward to spill the beans about anything that may or may not have taken place behind the scenes. The show's over, and they've both moved on. Still, curious parties will always have questions that they want answered.
