Julie was serving time at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, while Todd was at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida. In a clip from the interview (via People), Julie revealed it was her daughter, Savannah Chrisley, who informed her of the pardon. Savannah was also responsible for campaigning for her parents' release. "I called Savannah one more time, and she said, 'He did it, he signed it,'" Julie said. "And I just started busting out crying. And everyone was looking around, and then I just hung up. I was so nervous, I just hung up."
She continued, "It was the craziest thing, and everybody was just looking at me, because unfortunately, most of the news that you get in prison is bad news. So they're like, 'Are you okay?' I'm like, 'I am. I'm getting out of here. I'm getting out of here!'"

Reality TV Star Todd Chrisley Was Removed From His Job At His Prison's Chapel
Chrisley Knows Best's Todd Chrisley was fired from his job in the prison chapel, much to his shock and disappointment.
In the interview, Todd also had an opportunity to share his story and how he was informed about the pardon. "This guy stops me and goes, 'Man, I think you just got pardoned.' And I said, 'Yeah, okay.' And I just kept on walking. So when I went into my dorm, one of the guys, the COs, he came by and he goes, 'Are you good?' And I said, 'As good as I can be.' And he said, 'Todd, you just got pardoned. They sent me down here to make sure you're okay.'"
Todd also thanked God for making this possible.
Julie Chrisley Returns Home And Embraces Change
Now that Julie is back home, she has made a few noticeable changes to her life, including to her appearance. When she entered prison, her hair reverted to its natural brunette hue, and she began to show patches of gray. She has since dyed her hair blonde, but not the same signature platinum hue she favored before.
