In the music world, it has often seemed like Justin Bieber is unbeatable. After all, Bieber has released many hit songs, he makes a fortune when he tours, and his career has survived many scandals, including being accused of ripping off a classic song.

However, no matter how much Bieber has achieved and how many devoted fans he has, there are some things that even he can't overcome. Perhaps the best example of that is the fact that Bieber clearly didn't want to mess with a Hall of Fame UFC legend.

Justin Bieber Begged The UFC Legend Ronda Rousey Not To Beat Him Up

In 2015, Justin Bieber released his fourth studio album which was titled "Purpose". One of the most successful songs on that album was titled "Sorry" which is funny since Bieber would be begging Ronda Rousey to accept his apology before that year ended.

During a November 2015 interview with Entertainment Tonight and Z100's host Elvis Duran, Bieber addressed a scandal that was going on in his life. While he spoke to Duran, Bieber explicitly asked Ronda Rousey not to beat him up.

"Ronda, I'm sorry. Don't kick my a**."

Just before Bieber spoke to Duran, Rousey spoke out publicly about the pop star. Not only did Rousey bring Bieber up, but she also revealed that she had a serious reason to be mad at him.

While speaking to Cosmopolitan in October 2015, Rousey told the publication that she ran into Bieber at the Cannes Film Festival. After recognizing the young pop star, Rousey asked Bieber to take a photo, only to be rejected, according to the UFC legend.

"I've already taken a billion pictures today, OK?... A billion."

Considering how famous Rousey is, it may seem strange that she was asking Bieber for a photo in the first place. After all, she has rubbed elbows with all kinds of celebrities over the years. So, why would Rousey randomly want a photo with one of them?

According to reports, Justin Bieber would have a height advantage over Ronda Rousey if they fought. The reason for that is Medium reported that Bieber is 5"9 and The Sportster reports that Rousey is 5"7.

As it turns out, Rousey didn't ask Bieber to take a photo for herself. Instead, Rousey had brought her little sister Julia DeMars-Rousey to the event, and she was a big fan of the pop star.

"Justin Bieber was actually really rude to my little sister at the Cannes Film Festival. My little sister is very hard to impress and so she really didn't care about anybody that was at the Cannes Film Festival. But, you know, I wanted to spend some time with her, other things. And Justin Bieber was over there taking, um, some pictures with some ladies and she suddenly got really excited."

Rousey continued, "'Do you think he would want to take a picture with me? Do you think he'd want to?' And I was like, 'Sure Julia. Don't worry about it. Everybody's taking pictures today. You don't feel bad at all. You know, that's why everybody's here, you know.' She's like, 'Are you sure?' I'm like, 'Yeah, don't worry about it. I'm, look at him, he's a sweetheart.' I walked over there, I said, 'Excuse me.'"

According to what Rousey told Cosmopolitan, Bieber interrupted her, so he could refuse to take a photo. Rousey went on to explain to Cosmopolitan how her little sister reacted to Bieber's refusal.

"And then she looks at me and she's like, on the verge of tears and she goes, 'I'm no longer a Belieber.' Yeah, I don't think I'd want to hang out with him. I'm not a Belieber. I was but I'm not anymore."

Since Rousey became famous, she has revealed how much she values her family. With that in mind, it makes sense that Bieber asked not to get beaten up by Rousey after hearing what the UFC legend says happened to her little sister. It is also worth noting that Bieber told ET's reporter that he didn't recall snubbing Rousey's little sister.

"Supposedly she asked for a picture with her sister and I guess I said no. I don't remember this happening,"

Given how quickly Bieber backed down from Rousey, however, it is interesting to know that the pop star once claimed he wanted to fight in the UFC. In a truly strange turn of events, Bieber once publicly challenged Tom Cruise to a fight on the website then known as Twitter.

Some celebrities have fought in MMA or boxing, according to Buzzfeed.

“I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon. Tom if you don’t take this fight your scared and you will never live it down,” Justin wrote at the time. “Who is willing to put on the fight? @danawhite?”

For his part, Cruise seemed to laugh off Bieber's challenge to a fight and never responded. The whole situation remained so confusing for many onlookers that Bieber would later explain what he was thinking when James Corden asked him about the challenge.

“I don’t know, I was just being stupid, to be honest. But then people were like, ‘I wanna see this happen.’ And I was like, ‘You know what? That could actually be funny.'”

Bieber also told TMZ around the same time that he was just messing around when he challenged Cruise.

“The story is, I’d seen an interview with him and he was just on my mind. It was just a random tweet. I do that stuff sometimes.”
