Kaley Cuoco Struggled Getting Over Her Divorce From Karl Cook
In 2018, Kaley Cuoco tied the knot with Karl Cook. This would make it her second marriage, her other, came in 2013 alongside Ryan Sweeting. Ultimately, both marriages lasted three years.
Although on the surface, Cuoco seemed fine and continued on with her career, it was a much different story behind the scenes, as the actress struggled, especially emotionally.
Alongside Variety, Cuoco recalls the very moment of breaking and finally realizing she needed help and support.
“One month in, I had an intervention on myself in my trailer — all my producers were in there,” she said. “It was interesting to say that out loud. And to have everyone be like, ‘Yes, we want to help!’ I’m a working woman, and so independent, and I really take pride in being able to do everything. Well, this time, I literally couldn’t.”
The dark times lasted seven months, post divorce. Thankfully, in large part due to therapy, Cuoco is in a much better place these days and finally moving on. However, given a recent statement, it seems like marrying for a third time is not in the cards.
Kaley Cuoco Revealed She Won't Marry Again
Kaley Cuoco is starting a family, however, the chances of a wedding alongside Tom Pelphrey appear to be a long shot. Cuoco opened up alongside Glamour, stating she has no desire to get married. Instead, she wants a deep connection with a partner.
"I will never get married again. I would love to have a long-lasting relationship or a partnership. But I will never get married again. Absolutely not. You can literally put that on the cover."
Following her divorce, Cuoco was looking for love and to create a meaningful relationship, one that can drive her away from work this time around.
"I want to have a relationship that I give my time to and that the person feels [like they’re] really part of my life. I get so distracted with work, and I want to have that in the future. I know now what I wasn’t doing [in previous relationships]. I want to change that. I really know where I’ve messed up, and I don’t want to do that again."
Cuoco seems to have found that with Tom Pelphrey and according to Kaley, it was love at first sight between the two.

Thanks to the couple's mutual manager, Andrea Pett-Joseph, who set the pair up, it turned into love at first sight. Cuoco admits to crushing on her partner as soon as she heard his voice.
She recalled the experience alongside Today, “I heard his voice, and I turned around, and it was like my life was over, or just starting. It hit me. It was love at first sight,” she recalled.
“We were immediately connected. I do feel like I’ve known him my whole life, but I wasn’t ready for him. We’re ready to build a life together."
Cuoco seems to be set on doing exactly what she wanted to do, take time off while developing a deeper connection with her partner.
“I want to come home after that and take the rest of the year off and support Tom and what he’s shooting,” she shared, adding, “And actually be there for someone else, not just myself.”
Well, with the arrival of a baby girl coming soon, Cuoco will be spending lots more family time, especially at the moment, prepping for the little one's arrival.
