Kanye West has made no secret of the fact he is not a fan of his estranged wife Kim Kardashian's romance with Pete Davidson. But could his apparent jealousy have led to him spreading malicious rumors about Davidson?
The 44-year-old rapper has been allegedly "telling everyone within earshot" that the Saturday Night Live star and comedian is a "gay junkie who has the AIDS virus", according to TMZ.
Kanye West 'Has Threatened To Have Pete Davidson Beaten Up'
YouTuber and presenter DJ Akademiks’ revealed on Twitch earlier this week that Kanye is not letting up on trying to slander Davidson's name. “A n—a told me, this is real talk, Kanye has been telling anyone within an earshot of himself, he’s trying to spread a rumor that Pete Davidson has AIDS. I’m telling you this is a fact. I’ve heard this from eight people. He’s telling everybody!”
Sources also allegedly told Page Six, who is very publicly dating actress Julia Fox, is telling people that he will have Davidson, 28, beaten up. Insiders in West's camp have called the allegations "nonsense," however there has not been an official denial from the rapper.
Pete Davidson Has Kept It Respectful Because Of Kim And Her Kids
Saturday Night Live star Davidson has chosen not to let the Kanye drama become fodder for his popular entertainment sketch show. Sources say Davidson has chosen not to respond to Kanye's threats out of respect for Kim (who also is yet to comment.) Kim and West share children North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.
West, 44, admitted in an interview with Jason Lee for Hollywood Unlocked last week that his fury over the relationship led to him punching an autograph seeker. The incident took place outside a West Hollywood club. The "Gold Digger" artist said he was outside the Soho Warehouse at 3 a.m. last Thursday. A man who had been following him in recent days - in a quest for autographs - allegedly then provoked him.
"I'm saying, 'You don't know what I'm dealing with right now,''' the "DONDA" artist said, referring to footage of him snapping at the unidentified man.
"I just finished these two songs, I came from the studio, and this dude, he just had this real attitude, like, ''What you gonna do? And see that?'"
"Imma just tell you, that blue COVID mask ain't stop that knockout, you know what I'm saying?" the Grammy winning rapper confessed. The father of four admits he was upset at the time with estranged wife Kim Kardashian, who filed for a divorce and is now dating comedian Pete Davidson. West was seen in a now viral video shouting at his cousin who apparently failed to tell Kardashian that he wanted to visit one of their children at school.
"Security ain’t gonna get in between me and my children. And my children aren’t gonna be on TikTok without my permission," Ye - formally knows as Kanye - said defiantly in the interview. He also mentioned he was upset at her budding romance with Davidson.
"How are you going to blame me for acting out and kiss the dude your dating right in front of me. Everyone’s like, ‘that’s cool,’ and I’m hearing that the new boyfriend is in the house that I can’t even go to." Ye was referring to Kim Kardashian hosting duties on SNL which saw her kiss Pete Davidson while dressed up as Jasmine from Aladdin.
Kanye West Recently Dissed Pete Davidson In A New Song
Meanwhile, Kanye West and The Game have joined forces for a searing new track titled "Eazy," on which the former takes aim at his estranged wife and her new beau. West raps: “N****, we havin’ the best divorce ever / If we go to court, we’ll go to court together / Matter of fact, pick up your sis’, we’ll go to Kourt’s together.”
Later in his verse, West appears to hit out at Kardashian’s parenting: “I got love for the nannies / But real family is better / The cameras watch the kids / Y’all stop takin’ the credit.” Ye then slammed Pete Davidson, who Kardashian has been dating since last November: “God saved me from that crash / Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a**.”
