In the world of reality television, the Kardashian family have conquered the genre and then some. Their publicity stunts and constant presence in the media helped redefine fame for a new generation. Keeping Up With The Kardashians premiered in 2007 and was replaced by another series, The Kardashians, when it ended in 2021.
During a recent episode of the new series, Khloé Kardashian and ex-husband Lamar Odom reunite for the first time since 2016. While the two shared a sweet moment together, sister Kendall Jenner had some thoughts on the way Lamar was treated. According to Kendall, Khloé could've been a lot nicer to him.
Kendall Was Critical Of The Way Khloé Treated Lamar During Their Reunion
Kendall Jenner thinks her sister Khloé Kardashian should take her advice when it comes to interacting with an ex. During a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kendall spoke with sister Kylie Jenner about the emotional meeting Khloé had with her ex-husband Lamar Odom. Kendall even watched the footage back, since it was obviously being filmed for the show, and had some opinions about what transpired.
Kendall told Kylie she thought it was "cool to see them together" again, but admitted she had some "personal thoughts" on how her big sister handled things. "It was kind of sad," Kendall said. "I think Khloé could’ve been a bit gentler."
"I feel like I saw something in her that I see with Tristan [Thompson]," she added, referring to Khloé's latest ex, who is also the father of her two kids. "I’m not taking away what she’s been through, 'cause she’s definitely been through much more than I have in my life, but I think that it was interesting to see how cold she can be." "I don't disagree with that," Kylie responded.
"Khloé felt tense, which is all fair. I've never been through what Khloé's been through, and she's been through a lot," Kendall told viewers in a confessional. "But for her sake, I felt like there was a level of forgiveness that was lacking."
"And I understand there's parts of her that are uncomfortable, but I’ve seen this reaction with Tristan as well," she continued. "I remember when Tristan and her got friendly again and were co-parenting, she was like, kind of snarky with him around other people, because she almost didn’t wanna be judged by everyone else for being around him because he did bad things."
Tristan and Khloé broke up in 2021 after being together for two years. Their relationship was on-and-off due to his constant cheating. Kendall told Kylie that she wanted Khloé to "find compassion for him," not only for Lamar, but for herself as well. "You can forgive and not forget — that’s okay," Kendall said.
Kendall also told Kylie that she "cried watching" the reunion, which surprised her sister. "He was so nervous, Kylie, and like he... He showed up with gifts for her," Kendall said. Back in the confessional, Kendall said that she hadn't "really" spoken to Khloé about the reunion "in-depth but I'd love to sit with her when she gets back."
Khloé's meeting with Lamar was the former couple's first time seeing each other in nine years. She had previously filed for divorce from Lamar in 2013, but decided to put it on hold in 2015 due to his near-fatal drug overdose. She would file again the following year.

Lamar Odom Revealed His Feelings About Reuniting With Khloé Kardashian After Nearly A Decade
The former couple reunited for the first time in nearly nine years, but Lamar said he didn't know it would be filmed for "The Kardashians."
Khloé told viewers in a confessional, "I have dealt with so much trauma in this relationship for years and this was such the love of my life that to learn how to unlove someone — to have to go through all that — it’s almost like a death." She added that seeing Lamar again was "so familiar and so uncharted, all at the same time. I don’t know this person anymore. It’s just a mindf***."
Lamar Admitted He Didn't Know His Reunion With Khloé Would Be Filmed For The Kardashians
Khloé and Lamar's reunion took place in the Season 6 premiere of The Kardashians. Both parties arrived at the home of Khloé's best friend Malika Haqq. Lamar broke the ice when he saw a picture of Khloé with her son Tatum on her phone. Lamar described himself as feeling “out of body right now, a little bit.” When he looked at Khloé's screensaver, he told her, “He look like you a lot. Your little boy look like you a lot.” “That’s what people say,” Khloé responded.
Khloé and Lamar were married in 2009 and previously split up in 2013, with the reason being Lamar's struggles with drug addiction. During an episode of The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Lamar talked about the reunion and revealed how it all happened.
“Me and Khloé have a mutual friend, her name is Malika [Haqq],” Lamar said. “I bumped into her in Las Vegas I think it was Super Bowl weekend. She came to me, and said, ‘You know Lamar, I think it’s time for you and Khloé…it’s been years. You haven’t seen her if you’re up for it. I think I could make it happen.’” Lamar also said he didn't know that cameras would be filming the reunion before arriving. “I went there, and it was cameras there,” he revealed. “It’s cool, I understand it.”
However, just because the two shared a nice time reuniting, doesn't mean the two are getting back together. “I wouldn’t say back together,” Lamar said. “It would be a blessing to be her friend.” When asked why he didn't believe they would give it another shot, Lamar said, “So much time has passed and people change. I think it’s healthy sometimes to move on. In a healthy way. Like I said, it would be a blessing to be her friend just to be around her.”

Kylie Jenner Steps Out With Timothée Chalamet In Jaw-dropping Backless Gown
The famous couple has been trying to balance going public with their relationship and maintaining some privacy.
In the trailer for the new season, Khloé can be heard saying in a confessional, "I think timing is everything." She then talks about the reunion with sister Kim Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner. Lamar is seen carrying a bouquet of flowers and the next person we see is a tearful Kris, who says, "That was the love of her life."
Khloé Revealed That Lamar Cheated On Her Throughout Their Marriage
Among the issues Khloé and Lamar dealt with was infidelity. Khloé appeared on The Howard Stern Show, where she told the host about this particular issue in 2016. During her chat with Howard, she revealed that there was never a moment when she suspected he was being unfaithful.
"Lamar was so great at making me feel like I was the only one and I'm this princess," she said. "I never speculated cheating." Khloé revealed that Lamar would have his assistant contact women for him, or he would use a different phone altogether. "He was really crafty," she told Howard. "It was disgusting and I was pissed at the assistant."
Khloé explained that she thought Lamar had a "sex addiction," even though she didn't "know if I believe in a sex addiction that much." Even though Lamar had been cheating for most of their marriage, Khloé said that she believes he genuinely loved her. "I know he loves me. I know we loved each other. I don't question those feelings," she said. This was no doubt a very difficult time for her, but it sadly wouldn't be the last time a man was unfaithful to the reality star.
Khloé dated NBA player Tristan Thompson after she divorced Lamar. After being on and off for years due to his own cheating, they ended things for good in 2021. Due to having two children together, the former couple remain friends and co-parent successfully. Khloé opened up on her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land about her choice to let Tristan stay in the delivery room while she gave birth to their daughter, True. She revealed the birth took place 48 hours after she found out that he had cheated on her.
“Well the crazy thing is I would draw back to the feelings I had with Lamar [Odom] — Lamar was my first husband —where I would say, ‘Okay.’ I knew how to deal with this media scandal," Khloé said. "And I was in Cleveland, Ohio so like let me just stay here for a little bit because that’s where I gave birth."
Khloé told listeners that she was able to allow Tristan into the delivery room by not giving his actions any power. "And I remember when Tristan had an affair, it was public and I gave birth 48 hours later. And people were like, ‘Do you want him in the hospital room when you’re giving birth?’ And it was my first baby and I said, ‘I do,'" she explained.
"I was thinking for my daughter True," Khloé continued. "And I get sad if I ever see myself because I can tell I’m blank and it’s an out-of-body experience. I just went into autopilot. And I just went into, I’m not here, I was not present. But my body was there, I gave birth, I did what I had to do. But it was for her. I thought of her. I was like, ‘For her memories, I want her to know her dad was in the room.’ And then when it was done, I was like, ‘I can’t talk to you’ when I put my home camera down. But I made sure to do what I needed to do for her."

Kris Jenner Is Selling Her Iconic Mansion For How Much?!
After 15 years in the home made famous on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," Kris Jenner is finally selling the property.
Khloé revealed in a recent episode of The Kardashians that she is happy being single. According to the reality star, finding a relationship isn't high on her list of priorities right now.
"I’m very content and I’m happy,” Khloé said. “I feel like I’m f****** thriving in my own little circle and world, but just even to think about someone being in my space where I have to share my TV or my bed, I'm like, no. No means no and that's all you gotta know. I'm just finding my rhythm in life again, I guess.”
