Insiders with firsthand information informed TMZ that Kevin currently receives $40,000 per month for the two children he co-parents with Britney, Jayden James and Sean Preston.

The initial arrangement was based on each parent having the children 50% of the time. However, the reality is that Britney has not had custody of the children at all for several years.

In a few weeks, Sean Preston will reach the age of 18, and Britney’s child support payment for him will end. However, Jayden's support will remain unchanged until approximately June 2025, when he completes high school, that is unless Kevin can demonstrate the need for additional funds to cover 100% of Jayden's care.

There was previous speculation that Kevin would try to get more child support upon moving to Hawaii with his family, which has extended child support laws, though he denied the rumors. Hawaii stands out as one of the few U.S. states with extended child support laws, which, in certain situations, may mandate a parent to continue payments until the child reaches the age of 23.

Back in June, news emerged that Kevin had intentions to move to a tropical state. This decision stemmed from his wife, Victoria Prince, receiving a job offer from the University of Hawaii.

Kevin reportedly sought Britney’s permission to relocate with the boys, despite already having primary custody. Reports indicated that Britney had no objections, particularly given that her sons had reportedly declined in-person visits with her for over a year.

Rumors began circulating that Kevin may be motivated to move to Hawaii not just for his wife’s job, but to secure extended child support. He addressed the allegations when caught by paparazzi in late June, but only said, “A lot of people say a lot of stupid things.”

However, amid recent reports that K-fed is looking to adjust the custody agreement, it may be a sign that the speculation was accurate.

Child support isn’t the only expensive thing Britney is facing, as she continues to navigate her divorce from Sam Asghari. The pop star recently agreed to pay $10,000 a month for her estranged husband’s temporary apartment, after he moved out of their shared home.

Sam filed for divorce on August 16 after 14 months of marriage. It’s been alleged that he believes Britney was cheating on him with an employee; she’s been seen getting close to an ex-staffer in the months since their split, though they haven’t confirmed a romantic relationship.
