The Kardashian sisters are known to have complicated relationships with their exes — there's Scott Disick's drama with Kourtney Kardashian, Kanye West's social media meltdowns and threats against Kim Kardashian's new beau Pete Davidson, and the never-ending on-and-off thing between Khloé Kardashian and her "serial cheater" baby daddy, Tristan Thompson.
Nowadays, Khloé's ex-husband Lamar Odom has also been trying to win her back on Celebrity Big Brother. She's "sick" of him at this point, said an insider. Here's why.
What Lamar Odom Has Said About Khloe Kardashian On 'Celebrity Big Brother'
It started with a preview clip where Odom told his housemate Todrick Hall that he had a dream about Kardashian. "I had some good dreams last night. I dreamt [about] my ex-wife last night," said the former NBA player. He added that she's his "one and only" wife. "I miss her so much," he continued. "I wish I could take that time back." Prior to joining the show, Odom admitted that he was hoping Kardashian would be there. He also gave a cryptic response when he was asked about his time on the show — suggesting that he's now a changed man.
"Even though I'm out of shape a little bit right now, I think the physical competition's not gonna overwhelm me," he said. "I think the hardest part of the game for me would be to be disloyal to someone, purposely." Subtle, right? On the Valentine's Day episode of the show, Odom also revealed: "Sometimes it's hard for me to sleep at night thinking about [Khloé]." He also expressed that if given the chance, he'd like to take the Good American founder to dinner.
"It would be a blessing just to be in her presence, I'd say I'm sorry and what a fool I was," he said in a confessional interview. "But she has her right to never ever see me again, for the things I put her through." He's also been apologetic about his infidelity in their marriage. "When I married Khloé, there's just so many things that I did wrong when it came to that relationship," he once stated. "If I could take it back, of course, I'd take it back. It was never my intention to hurt her. My mind and head weren’t in the right place. I wasn't taking care of myself."
'Celebrity Big Brother' Host Julie Chen Moonves Confirmed Lamar Odom Is Hoping For Reconciliation
"I think Lamar has quite a story to tell," said Moonves on E! News' Daily Pop. "I think he has a lot of regret, but he also knows you can't relive the past, you have to look to the future. And I think he would love a second chance." However, the host is aware that it is a one-sided thing. "I don't know if Khloe wants to even hear it—I think it might be too little, too late—but I'm a sucker for love," she added. The CBS host also said that Odom is "genuinely" sorry for what he's done to Kardashian before.
"He has one [a 'good comeback story'] to tell," Moonves teased. "And if you show remorse—genuine remorse—that goes a long way." The host also has some advice for the two, should they decide to rekindle their romance. "They should say, 'Hey, listen, we've got this in common. Even if we don't become best friends, let's work together and let's build around us,'" said the TV personality. "You have to find someone immediately, quickly that you can bond with on something and then agree to make it all about business...until it's not, until it gets personal. Which it always does."
Khloe Kardashian 'Has Zero Desire' To Reconcile With Lamar Odom
Recently, a source said that Kardashian is actually sick of Odom's pleas to get back together. "It’s bad enough that he's saying all this soppy stuff on TV," the insider told OK! Magazine. "But he's also blowing her phone up and trying to wear her down through the few mutual friends they have left." They added that The Kardashians star has "zero desire" to meet up with her ex-husband.
In June 2021, Kardashian already expressed that she "is sorry Lamar can't seem to move on, but she's annoyed about constantly being part of his narrative." A source added that she's tried to be nice about it but Odom's public statements have just gotten on her nerves. "At this point, it's like, what part of 'we're done' do you not understand?" they shared. "It pains Khloé to put it in such brutal language, but no other message seems to get through to Lamar."
