Kimora Lee Simmons Tried To Expose Diddy's Abusive Behavior Nearly Two Decades Ago

Fashion designer and former reality TV star Kimora Lee Simmons has been trying to tell the world about the dark side of Sean "Diddy" Combs for the past two decades, and now, the world is finally listening. The mother of five told the press about an altercation she had with Diddy in 2004, and it's only now that people are starting to hear her out.

In November 2023, Diddy's former partner of ten years, Cassie Ventura, sued him for $30 million for sexual and physical abuse. The two settled for an undisclosed amount. Nearly a year later, USA Today reported the rapper has over 120 claims coming his way after countless allegations of sex trafficking, racketeering, physical and sexual abuse, and transportation to solicit prostitution. Kimora's story is just the cherry on top of a long list of assertions against the disgraced music mogul.

Kimora Lee Simmons Is On A Warpath Against Diddy

A 2004 interview between model and designer Kimora Lee Simmons and The New York Magazine resurfaced ever since multiple Sean "Diddy" Combs allegations came to light.

The New York Post reported that the interview shared a brief story about an altercation between Kimora and Diddy. Back in 2004, Kimora was married to Russell Simmons, the co-founder of Def Jam Recordings. In the interview, an executive from the label claimed Diddy was "nasty" towards Kimora.

There was a nasty cloudburst when Kimora said something to Combs and he threatened to hit her.

While on the subject of Diddy, Kimora added, “And I was pregnant! The moron!”

Russell and Diddy influenced each other in all things music and business in the early '90s and 2000s. In an interview with The Art of Dialogue, Diddy's former bodyguard, Gene Deal, revealed explosive allegations against both men.

Kimora Lee Simmons has an estimated net worth of around $200 million.

Gene explained that Diddy looked up to Russell when he was young and on the rise and that he learned his toxic behaviors from music execs like Russell, Clive Davis, and Andre Harrell.

"When those people are telling you that they were heavy into the drugs, they [sic] was heavy into beating women, and doing things at that crazy stage. That's gonna make him think that he can get away with the same thing," Gene explained.

It can make [a] man into a monster and that's what it did.

Like Diddy, Kimora's ex-husband has also faced countless lawsuits and allegations from women claiming abuse. In a 2018 public statement, Russell denied the sexual assault claims that were thrown his way. "They have shocked me to my core as I have never been abusive or violent in any way in my relations with women," he said at the time. Nonetheless, Russell stepped down from his position at Def Jam shortly after.

When Diddy was eventually arrested in September 2024, Kimora shaded her ex-husband on Instagram by tagging him in a story with nothing other than his name. The act was seen as a message, hinting that Russell was next.

After being arrested in September, Sean "Diddy" Combs has been held without bail in a Brooklyn prison after being charged with three felonies and a plethora of other allegations. Since being held behind bars, more and more stories, claims, and lawsuits have emerged about the rapper.

Most of the claims against Diddy occurred during his "freak off" parties. These parties included some of the industry's top celebrities and business owners, making it a dark time to be associated with Diddy in any fashion. Sky News reported from court documents that the freak off parties were described as "elaborate and produced sex performances that Combs arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded."

Perhaps most disturbing of all, it's also been reported that those abused during the parties were given controlled substances to keep them "compliant."

Since the realization of the freak off parties, The Daily Mail shared that over 125 victims came forward with allegations against Diddy, some being as young as nine years old.

While Diddy's been behind bars, his lawyers deny any wrongdoing by their client. "As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus," Erica Wolff, Diddy's lawyer, stated to Fox News. "That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation."

As Kimora Lee Simmons insinuated, there are many charges for which Diddy could be implicated in this trial. Between the hidden cameras throughout Diddy's mansions that captured every party to detailed allegations from victims (some with proof), it's not looking good for Sean Diddy Combs and the now-tarnished empire that he built.

However, if it weren't for the brave victims like Kimora or Cassie, Diddy's supposed horrendous crimes would never have come to light. It is because of these courageous individuals speaking out about their past experiences that more dark truths about Diddy are actually able to come to light. After all, it's possible that other victims of Diddy's would never have felt comfortable sharing their own stories if they hadn't seen others do so first.

Currently, neither Kimora nor Russell has made a recent statement about their relationship with Diddy, though one can assume that Kimora herself has not been in contact with him. As more news continues to come out about Diddy, it seems that more and more high-profile celebrities are able to be connected back to the mogul and to his freak off parties.
