In Season 5 of The Kardashians, Kourtney was seen having contractions towards the end of her pregnancy. She and Travis went to the hospital with hopes of giving birth on Halloween, but according to TMZ, Kardashian was only 3 centimeters dilated with some bleeding. Not progressing, Kourtney and Travis were sent home until she was more dilated. With a long night ahead of them, they decided to speed up the process with an intimate confession.

"We went home, ate at Crossroads, showered, slept in our bed and then we have sex to get things going to see if that helps. That can help sometimes."

As Kourtney's contractions grew, she went back to the hospital and was soon in active labor. Her son Rocky was born the next day, on November 1, 2023.

As happy as the couple were to welcome a safe and healthy baby boy, it was a long road to birth. After having three pregnancies with zero complications with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, Kourtney had a life-threatening scare while pregnant with Rocky.

Metro reported that on an episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney shared a harrowing experience.

"A couple of months ago, we had a terrifying scare where I had to have emergency fetal surgery for fluid in his lungs." Kourtney continued saying the condition was "rare" and she was thankful they caught it early.

"I was definitely filled with fear after the surgery and the fluid in his lungs actually did start coming back. Then I watched this documentary that was all about the power of positive thinking and how our thinking can affect our health," the Poosh founder shared.

After doing positive thinking and affirmations, the liquid disappeared and baby Rocky was strong and growing. Now with a blended family, thriving careers, and a happy marriage, Kourtney and Travis can continue their happily ever after.

When Kourtney and Travis began spending time together, it was a union no one saw coming. However, US Weekly shared that the twosome have been friends for years after living near each other and having similar interests.

2018	US Weekly reported Kourtney and Travis were seen out and about together after trying different vegan restaurants, and later, attending a church service. However, nothing romantic between the two happened.
2021	Fans speculated something was brewing between the two when Travis and Kourtney kept commenting on each other's Instagram photos. They also shared different snaps of Kris Jenner's Palm Springs mansion, as reported by E! News.
