The ups and downs of their relationship has played out on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
It's hard to believe that friendly exes Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have not been in a romantic relationship for six years ago. But the Kardashians are still holding out hope that the former couple who share three children will find their way back to each other.
In a new teaser for the next episode of the family's hit E! show, Kris Jenner, 65, expresses her dreams of a potential rekindling between the duo.
The teaser begins with the women going through a photo album when Kris stumbles upon a photo of Kourtney and Scott posing together, all dressed up.
"You guys look like you're at the prom," Kris remarked of an old photo of the exes, prompting Kourtney to post the photo to her Instagram.
"That's really funny to post actually," Kourtney replies.
The sight of the former couple prompts Kris to bring up a potential rekindling between Kourtney and the father of her three children.
"Listen, there's nothing I would love more than to see you live your life and grow old with someone, be happy and content and peaceful. And it would always be so fabulous if it was the dad of your children, you know?" Kris suggests.
"Wouldn't that be a dream," Kourtney replies with a hint of sarcasm.
According to Kris, Scott would "love" to get back with Kourtney.
"And I think he fits well with all of us 'cause we've all been around each other for so long," Kris continues. "I think at this stage from what he tells me, he would love for it to be you and him."
A unconvinced Kourtney replied, "He's a talker."
In a confessional, Kourtney admits this is not the first time such a suggestion had been made.
"My whole family, for a couple years now, love to just bring up me and Scott getting back together,' she said. 'It's frustrating because Scott and I have had our own private talks but sometimes I don't care to have it be such a conversation all the time, so I'll just kind of brush it off in a nice way."
But some fans believed Kris Jenner only wanted Kourtney to get back together with Scott to improve ratings - despite it being the final season.
"It's all about the ratings with kris, she only cares about the child that is making her the most money," one person wrote online.
"Kris also praises Tristan and gushes about how great of a partner and father he is LOL, he cheated and humiliated her daughter millions of times, crazy woman," a second added.
"Kourtney only has this storyline now,its boring and overused. It would make Kris gleefully happy if Scott and Kourtney got married. Think of the brand deals," a third chimed in.
Kourtney has dashed hope of a potential reunion when she started a relationship with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker not long after the episode was filmed.
As for Scott, who shares Mason, 11, Penelope, eight, and Reign, six, with Kourtney, he's now dating model Amelia Gray Hamlin, 19.
