Kris Jenner is a busy grandmother thanks to her six children, who have almost all welcomed kids of their own. But the matriarch recently revealed how she feels about her daughters and son having children before getting married.
All the Kardashian-Jenner siblings who have children welcomed them before tying the knot. Kourtney Kardashian was the first to have a child, with the birth of her son Mason in 2009. She went on to welcome two more children with her partner Scott Disick before they broke up in 2015. Though Scott proposed numerous times, Kourtney never accepted.
Similarly, Kim Kardashian gave birth to daughter North in 2013 before tying the knot to Kanye West a year later. They went on to have three more kids.
Rob Kardashian is a dad to 5-year-old daughter Dream, whom he co-parents with his ex-fiancé Blac Chyna, while Khloe Kardashian had a daughter, True, 4, with her ex Tristan Thompson. Kylie was the latest Kardashian-Jenner to have a baby; she welcomed a son with her boyfriend Travis Scott earlier this year. They on-and-off couple are also parents to 4-year-old daughter Stormi.
Kris Admits Whether She Judges Her Children’s Life Choices
Kris was famously married to attorney Rob Kardashian when they welcomed their four children. She later gave birth to daughters Kendall and Kylie during her marriage to Caitlyn Jenner. But even though she was married before becoming a mom, Kris said she doesn’t judge any of her children for becoming parents before settling down.
“I’m here for them. They know that,” Kris said on Martha Stewart’s podcast when asked about her thoughts on the topic. “There’s nothing that I would judge. Not at all. I mean, I just never would.”
The Kardashians star said that she’s becoming “more and more understanding” of her kids’ lifestyle choices as she gets older due to her “age difference.”
“I’ve been through so many things in my life that hindsight is very important,” she explained. “Because I learned so much along the way that I knew nothing about before. … I embrace what is in front of me. I think that I am easy once I understand it.”
The only one of Kris’ children who doesn’t have kids of their own is Kendall Jenner. The model has expressed a desire to start a family in the future, though she’s added she’s in no rush. Kris, however, has stated she hopes Kendall has a baby sooner than later.
