After dating Caitlyn Jenner's son from his second marriage, Brody Jenner, Kristin was linked to Scott Disick who was then dating Kourtney Kardashian and was a new father to their firstborn, Mason Disick, who has issues with his mom.

After the rumors hit the tabloids, Kristin became estranged from the Kardashians. During her exposé on her podcast, Let's Be Honest, she called the family "manipulative" for not defending her amid the false stories and conveniently attempting to make good with her as she comes for them. Scott and Kourtney had a brief split in 2010. At that time, the Flip It Like Disick star joined a business trip to Las Vegas with Kristin, who was friends with the eldest Kardashian sister. "I was never alone with Scott, not even for one f******* minute was I ever alone with Scott," recalled the latter. But soon after that, she woke up to find a tabloid headline saying that she had hooked up with Scott in Vegas.

I was so pissed, obviously too. Anytime you're accused of hooking up with someone when you didn't, like that s*** just irks me, right? And I'm friends with Kourtney.

Kristin denied the rumor then and doubled down on it on her podcast. Back then, she knew "for a fact" that Scott had leaked the fake story. "How it was worded," she explained, "[our mutual friend] Stew and I both were like, 'Oh my god, it's 100% Scott who did this, to get Kourtney back.'"

"I said, 'You know, the Kardashians have had every opportunity to just simply say it's not true, but they haven't,'" she recounted, adding that she was likely used to "distract" people from Kim's scandalous divorce from Kris Humphries.

But that wasn't the only "manipulation" Kristin accused the family of doing to her. In a previous episode of her podcast, the Laguna Beach star revealed to fans that Scott had conveniently DM-ed her while exposing the Kardashians.

"What interesting timing. That I get a DM on Instagram from Scott f****** Disick," she said back then. She went on to read it, saying it was "the most manipulative text I've ever gotten" and that it was "classic, textbook manipulation, control bull****."

Scott's DM to Kristin: "Hey!!! It's been such a long time, it's crazy. Kind of crazy that our lives also ended up being kind of similar. I feel like it would be so good to see you and catch up, and just talk about the stress and all the different things you gotta go through with kids, changing your life around, over and over. Really miss ya, though. And wish I would have reached out earlier. Just been so busy trying to be the best dad I can be. I don't have time for much, but trying to think about myself a little bit again, or trying anyway. Hope to hear from you. Just text me, so it's easier to chat."

It was a major eye-roll for Kristin, who sarcastically said, "Scott, you miss me after 17 years? No, that timing is not lost on me that as I'm ripping on the Kardashians, calling them out for shit, now they want to send in Scott." An insider later told Page Six that Scott felt it was "disrespectful" that his old friend leaked his private message.

After everything Kristin has said about the Kardashians, it's hard not to think that they might have also sent this anonymous source who stated: "Scott has no idea why Kristin thinks his text to her was manipulative and that's not at all how he intended it to be interpreted."
