Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula have been through a rollercoaster ride of a relationship on Bravo's Summer House. They've been featured on the series since season one which premiered in January 2017, and Batula officially joined the main cast during season two, and they have been together ever since. Kyle and Amanda have never shied away from sharing their hard times on camera, including Kyle's excessive drinking / partying, the cheating scandal, and his infamous line "Summer. Should. Be. Fun. Amanda, not fun."
Against all odds, Kyle and Amanda made it down the aisle after a few canceled weddings. Carl Radke officiated the wedding and many other Summer House stars and Bravo-lebrities joined the nuptials. Season six is currently airing and Kyle and Amanda are among the cast members returning. Fans are seeing the lead-up to Kyle and Amanda's wedding this season. It's safe to say that there were multiple times when it looked like this wedding was going to be called off. This season is full of ups and downs, but it also details the happiest day of Kyle and Amanda's life. Where do these Loverboys stand today?
6 Do Amanda Batula And Kyle Cooke Watch 'Summer House' Together?
When asked this question three years ago, Kyle said, “We have watched every episode together, the good ones and the bad,” the Loverboy founder wrote via Instagram in March 2019, while looking back at the first time Batula filmed with him. “It’s not easy reliving the tough and challenging parts of our relationship every year, every episode, 8 months after it happened, but here we are. Happily engaged, and about to watch the premiere of Season 3. Thank you to everyone for your love and support! ❤️.”
5 But Is That Still True?
Amanda appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on January 24th, 2022 along with co-star Ciara Miller. This season is only three episodes in, and it's tough to see where Kyle and Amanda's relationship stands just months before their wedding. Kyle missed 20 of his future wife's calls while out partying alone, so Amanda took it upon herself to break everything in his toiletry bag. When Andy Cohen asked Amanda Batula how it was watching these few episodes back, she revealed they don't watch them... at least not together.
4 Why Wouldn't Amanda Batula And Kyle Cooke Watch The Show Together?
In multiple scenes, Amanda Batula is shown confiding in her friends, especially Paige DeSorbo, about her and Kyle's issues. Her relationship was in shambles to the point where she and Kyle had an agreement that if she were to call off the wedding... Kyle owed Amanda's parents every penny. Paige basically tells her bestie that if she wants to be a runaway bride, then she will drive the getaway car. Amanda tells Paige in short that it's not that she wants to call it off, but she's afraid that she might have to. After a sit down with Kyle, he broke down in tears, promised to be better, and Amanda forgave him.
