The cast of Below Deck is a colorful crew, and Kyle Dixon is no exception. The deckhand only rose to international fame recently when he was featured on Bravo’s hit reality show. Nonetheless, he lived a very interesting life before he ever walked on set. Kyle kicked off the exciting part of his journey by adventuring around the world and jumping from continent to continent. The reality star supported himself working in bars and nightclubs all around Europe, Asia and Africa until he made a major career change and turned to the ocean.
Now, some fans are wondering whether or not Kyle’s exciting lifestyle will continue post-filming. Has he continued to travel throughout the last few months? Or has he chosen to attack a totally new adventure? Let’s take a look:
Kyle’s Intense Transformation
If cats have nine lives, Kyle seems to have at least twice that. The Manchester native has worked in the very strict wold of the British military as a soldier. He then decided to take himself a little bit less seriously, when he traded in his weapon for a cocktail shaker. That’s right, Kyle became a traveling bartender and worked in clubs all across the globe. With such an exciting past, fans are eager to know what’s up in Kyle’s present. Where is he now?
According to Kyle’s Instagram page, he is as funky as ever. From sharing old party pics to posting some raunchier new poses, Kyle has continued to share his wild side with the Internet. The weirdest thing that he has shared? A meme that he made of himself! At least we can see that Kyle has not lost his sense of humor in quarantine.
Focusing On Family Matters
Even though Kyle is famous for joking around, he also has a tame side. That’s right, our cheeky deckhand is more than just a party boy; he is also a dad. Fans of the show might know that Kyle is the father of a seven year-old girl named Florence. However, since filming, the reality star has greeted another little munchkin to his crew: Willow.
Nobody seems more shocked than Kyle that he ended up being a family man. On Father’s Day, he even made a post in which he admitted that fatherhood came as a surprise to him. “Never thought I’d be a dad, but here we are,” he wrote. In spite of it all, Kyle seems to adore his little girls, saying he “wouldn’t trade these two (kids) for anything.” So sweet!
Clearly, the deckhand’s days as a traveling bartender are over. Now, however, he is pursuing a whole new adventure. Perhaps it doesn’t involve an exotic location or fancy bar, but it is certainly a path filled with both challenges and joy. We can’t wait to see how Kyle does moving forward!
