Kylie Jenner hasn’t said a lot about her new relationship with Timothee Chalamet, but she’s not afraid to step out publicly in support of her new man. The makeup mogul was recently spotted attending a Saturday Night Live afterparty following Timothee’s appearance on the hit show.
Kylie looked chic as she arrived at the New York event in an all-black outfit. The mother-of-two wore a fitted black top, which hung off one shoulder, over top of a pair of sleek leggings. Though it was dark out, Kylie hid her face behind a pair of narrow shades, which matched her black purse.
Kylie's Family Is Supporting Timothee's Career Milestones
For his part, Timothee kept casual in a purple, corduroy jacket over top of a graphic hoodie. He also shielded his face with a black velvet hat, though photos show the Dune actor smiling for onlooking photographers.
Multiple reports note that Kylie and Timothee arrived to the after party separately, though there’s no doubt that Kylie was there to support him given their romance. Earlier in the evening, Timothee hosted SNL for the second time in his life (his debut hosting gig was in December 2020).
Kylie wasn’t the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner family support Timothee’s SNL appearance. Hours before the episode dropped, her mother Kris Jenner posted to Instagram to encourage her followers to “tune in” to the show. Her pot included SNL promo footage featuring Timothee.
Kylie's Co-Parenting Relationship With Travis Is Allegedly Strained
This marks Kylie’s first public appearance since her ex-boyfriend Travis Scott took their 5-year old daughter Stormi on stage during his Los Angeles performance. Video footage shows Stormi appearing nervous as she held on to her father’s hand as the duo stood on a head-shaped podium, which was suspended over the main stage.
While Stormi’s appearance may have seemed innocent, it caused some concern amongst fans given Travis’ history of dangerous performances. Not only as the rapper been arrested for allegedly inciting a riot at his concerts, he’s currently facing billions in lawsuits over the fatal Astroworld festival, where multiple lives were lost in 2021 following a crowd surge.
Travis has established the festival years prior in his hometown of Austin, Texas, and was a headliner for the festival until its final, fatal edition. Though Travis has denied responsibility for what happened in the events, he’s still named in multiple lawsuits alongside the other organizers.
Travis and Kylie split in 2022, shortly after the birth of their second child, son Aire. While Travis hasn’t publicly commented on his ex’s new relationship with Timothee Chalamet, reports have said the rapper is struggling to see Kylie move on.
“Although Travis understands that Kylie is free to date whoever she wants, he’s not exactly ecstatic about the whole situation [with Timothée],” an insider told Us Weekly. “Despite his feelings, Kylie and Travis have both been very mature about their split and are focused on co-parenting in a healthy manner.”
Though Kylie recently gave a brief update on her co-parenting relationship with Travis, she’s relatively silent on where the two of them stand.
