After MTV stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag lost their home to the California wildfires, the former made a plea to his fans to stream his wife's 2010 album, Superficial, as a way for the couple to earn money after losing everything. Surprisingly, Speidi fans came to the rescue and Heidi's album claimed the No.1 spot on the iTunes chart.
In fact, celebrities also came out to support the former reality TV villains. Most notably, Heidi and Spencer's The Hills co-stars. Brody Jenner, Whitney Port, and Kristin Cavallari, went on social media showing support for the couple. However, one former co-star has yet to show the same love—Lauren Conrad. Those who remember the show all know that Lauren and Heidi didn't end on good terms.
Sadly, Speidi fans are attacking Lauren on her Instagram for choosing not to help out her old co-stars. But, why would she support a couple that has been bashing her and her career for years?

Speidi Fans Launch An Attack On Lauren Conrad For Not Promoting Heidi Montag's Music
It was great to see Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's former co-stars from MTV's The Hills promoting the former's 2010 album after the couple had lost everything, including their home to the devastating wildfires in California. One of the first co-star's to promote Heidi's song "I'll Do It" was longtime friend Brody Jenner, who posted a TikTok of himself jamming out to the song. "POV: This is the only song you are streaming rn," Brody wrote.
Kristin Cavallari and Whitney Port also posted a video of themselves dancing to Heidi's music, while Audrina Patridge opted to post a link to Heidi's album. In fact, Lo Bosworth not only told her followers on TikTok to stream Heidi's music, but offered the couple a partnership deal with her company, Love Wellness.
However, it seems that the only MTV co-star that isn't showing the same love is Lauren Conrad.
Fans who have followed both MTV's Laguna Beach and The Hills all know too well about Lauren's fall-out with Heidi and Spencer. It had a lot to do with the couple being accused of spreading gossip that Lauren had a sex tape. This was hurtful as Heidi was once Lauren's best friend.
It doesn't appear like the couple and Lauren have ever made amends since she made a rare appearance at their wedding in 2008, which was shown on The Hills.
Speidi fans are now calling out Lauren for not promoting Heidi's music as her former cast mates have done. These same fans bombarded Lauren's Instagram page with messages of hate.
In a photo that shows Lauren with her husband, William Tell, commenters wrote:
"You clearly think you are above other people, just like in the hills 😢😢😢
So sad that you don’t support fellow women in tough situation. I bet Heidi Would support you if you became homeless with young children. Just sayin."
Other commenters wrote things like, "Your silence is deafening 😮," and "YOU WERE THE BAD ONE ALL ALONG."
In addition, a TikTok user by the name of Shennaigans posted a video calling out Lauren and sharing that she was "a petty person" for not downloading Heidi's music.
Spencer saw the TikTok and in the comment section, wrote, "Facts."

Lauren Finds Support From Her Followers: "She Owes Speidi Nothing"
After Lauren departed The Hills in the middle of Season 5, Heidi and Spencer have continued to bash her and even her career in interviews and on social media to this day. Why does she owe them anything?
The sex tape scandal, while one of the most memorable moments of the scripted show, took a toll on the women's friendship in real life.
In fact, in 2019, Spencer Pratt's sister, Stephanie Pratt, who had a falling out with both her brother and sister-in-law, shared on Instagram that Heidi was the one behind spreading the false sex tape rumors.
"Heidi- I have no words for how evil you truly are- you had no choice to admit all of the lies you’ve been spewing about me was for a magazine cover ? and for real WE ALL KNOW WHAT YOU DID 10 years ago. "You awful human being- and to your BEST FRIEND? You are truly a hideous person. No wonder you don’t have 1 friend (your nanny doesn’t count- you pay her)."
Fans have come to Lauren's defense as she had not been friends with Heidi or Spencer for years.
"She does not owe Spencer and Heidi anything. He was literally just on TikTok live talking crap about her. Leave Lauren alone. Spencer and Heidi have a lot more than people think and their GoFundMe is ridiculous. Normal people lost their houses in these fires so I hope Lauren chooses to help those that are way less fortunate," a comment read.
"There is NO need to come on Lauren’s page to attack her. She owes Speidi nothing and it’s really telling how they’re sending trolls after her. Lauren, keep doing you," another follower said.
Indeed, a GoFundMe fund for the couple has exceeded $100,000. And, this isn't counting the money the couple made after streaming Heidi's music and the payout they received from TikTok.
They really don't need Lauren's support. In fact, social media users have also pointed out that Lauren does not have a TikTok account nor does she often post on Instagram.

Spencer Pratt Revealed He Was Going To Call Out People Who Weren't Supporting Him and Heidi
While Spencer was incredibly thankful to those who helped his family out amid the wildfires that burnt down his home, he couldn't help but bring out the villainous side that reality TV fans know all too well.
In a TikTok, Spencer revealed that he was going to come after friends who didn't promote Heidi's music. That's certainly not what someone who just lost everything says, especially after receiving loads of love and support to help rebuild his and Heidi's life.
“There’s a lot of people I know that haven’t posted Heidi’s music that I’m not only gonna block on social media, but in real life. And then, God willing, when I’m rich and famous, I am gonna burn them down …"
"Burn them down?" Don't think that's quite the right thing to say at the moment ...
In the same TikTok, Spencer shared that the "list [of people] is growing" and that he was going to look through all the videos he is tagged in on social media to see who and who hasn't helped him and his family. " … How hard is it to post a video playing some of Heidi’s music?” Spencer asked. “Even if you don’t buy the song, you can for free get it off of TikTok or IG."
He continued, “ … Soon I’m gonna start naming names I think, because I have a pretty crazy contact list … and I’m just gonna start going down and I’m gonna name names. It’s on.” Yikes.
