The model was seen leaving a fashion show wearing a stylish white two-piece ensemble. With her blond locks pulled back, Leni, 19, accessorized with a black bag and white, pointed heels. She flashed a smile for photographers as she was seen exiting.
Seal Says He Became A Better Person By Being Leni’s Dad
Leni’s recent outing comes after she reunited with her stepfather, Seal, as he took a break from his ongoing world tour, which includes 39 stops. The duo met up in New York a snapped a sweet photo on the sidewalk, which Seal later shared on Instagram, where he has half a million followers.
The image showed Seal with his arm wrapped around the 19-year old, smiling brightly. Leni was dressed casually in a t-shirt and baggy shorts, while Seal had on a tan blazer, a button down shirt, and dark shorts.
“In NY with the young woman who changed my life for the better 19yrs ago,” he captioned the photo. “Thank you Leni for making me a better person. Love – Papa.”
Where Lenki Klum Stands With Her Biological Father
Although Leni isn’t Seal’s biological father, he’s raised her as his own since infancy, after getting together with her famous mother, Heidi Klum, while she was pregnant with Leni.
Heidi had a brief relationship with the Italian managing director of the Renault Formula One team, Flavio Briatore, but they split up shortly after she announced her pregnancy. The German model began dating Seal shortly after, and he was even present for Leni’s birth.
Heidi has emphatically stated that Seal is Leni’s father, while Flavio has reportedly not been a constant figure in her life since birth.
Leni was born in May 2022, and Heidi and Seal went on to marry in December 2004. The couple welcomed three biological children – two sons, born in 2005 and 2006, and a daughter, born in 2009. Seal officially adopted Leni and gave her his last name in 2009.
In 2010, Seal opened up about his decision to adopt Leni years after her birth, saying that he never felt she was any less of his daughter even before it was legally official. “It doesn’t make [Leni] any more or less my daughter,” he told PEOPLE. “She always has been.”
“All it means is that both Heidi and I wanted her to have the same last name as the rest of us…It was about Leni,” he continued. “I don’t want her to feel different because I know what that’s like, being a kind of stepson. And I don’t want that dynamic for my little girl.”
Seal also confirmed that Leni’s biological father was okay with the adoption, saying he “was a gentleman about the whole thing.”
“I certainly have nothing but good things to say about the way he’s been with us and he’s more than welcome to see Leni any time he wants to,” he continued.
Seal and Heidi broke up in 2012 after seven years of marriage, while their divorce was finalized in 2014.
