In addition, the inevitable Friends questions were asked. Kudrow made a surprising reveal in particular, telling guest host Anthony Anderson what life was like after the show came to an end.
In the comments, it seems like the focus was on Kudrow's physical appearance more than anything else. Let's recap what the fans had to say, and other reveals made during the interview.
Lisa Kudrow Discussed Constantly Crying After Friends, But Fans Were All About Her Natural Look On Jimmy Kimmel Live
Lisa Kudrow had a lot to discuss during her time on Jimmy Kimmel Live alongside guest host, Anthony Anderson. The replacement wasted no time bringing up Friends, and if Kudrow gets called Phoebe by others. As expected, Kudrow admitted this has been the case in several instances.
Among the other topics discussed by Kudrow during the interview included watching herself back on Friends, remodeling her cousin's home, her new Apple TV show, Time Bandits and possible destinations if she was able to time travel.
The former sitcom star also shared an emotional story. Kudrow revealed what her dark reality was like once Friends came to an end.
Kudrow revealed, "Apparently I was crying in the kitchen, and my son was 5. He wanted to know why I was crying and my husband said, 'She's sad cause Friends is done.' He said, 'Well, she can see her friends and just call them.' I never knew he had no clue what the show was called. He just knew that I worked on a show."
At the very least, Kudrow was able to look back at the moment with laughter. As for the fan reaction in the comments section, few were talking about that story. Instead, the discussion was about Kudrow's look, and how she's kept things natural all these years later with her appearance, unlike her Friends co-stars.
The top comment wrote, "Off topic: Lisa looks great. Bless her for going the natural route when it comes to aging."
Fans clearly agreed:
- "She looks amazing, vibrant! I think she retains her youthful nature."
- "She looks so much better than her female Friends co-stars because she isn't full of botox."
At the end of the day, fans are just happy to see Kudrow back in the spotlight and continuing her career, despite the millions she's still making thanks to Friends.
Lisa Kudrow's current net worth is valued at $130 million.
Jessica Alba Also Turned Heads For Her Look On The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, But The Host Was Praised For How He Handled It
Speaking of ageless, Jessica Alba also made the headlines over a month ago for her appearance at 43. Once again, this was a hot topic among fans following her interview with Jimmy Fallon. Still, Jimmy avoided the temptation of discussing her appearance, and kept the focus on Alba's life as a mom, and the project she was there to promote, Trigger Warning.
Fallon clearly did his homework prior, as the actress doesn't enjoy discussing her physical appearance.
Alba said in past interviews, “I was meant to feel ashamed if I tempted men. Then I stopped eating a lot when I became an actress. I made myself look more like a boy so I wouldn’t get as much attention. I went through a big tomboy phase.”
“In Hollywood, you’re really preyed upon. They see a young girl, and they just want to touch you inappropriately or talk to you inappropriately or think that they’re allowed to be aggressive with you in a way. So, then I like created this pretty intense ‘don’t f— with me’ [attitude]. I had to create a harder shell about being a woman.”
Credit to Alba for speaking her truth, while being able to find success outside of Hollywood.
