The most recent Love Is Blind baby to join the bunch came from reality TV stars Bliss Poureetezadi and husband Zack Goytowski. After their dramatic love story, the two tied the knot on the show and welcomed a baby girl named Galileo earlier this year.
Since then, Bliss and Zack have continued to be in the public eye after becoming a family of three. More recently, Bliss opened up about her struggles with postpartum depression, speaking candidly about her rocky journey.
Bliss Described Her Past Relationship With Depression
In a candid conversation that Bliss had with Yahoo Entertainment, she described her journey to grappling with her postpartum depression. She noted that, even before pregnancy, she had struggled with depression in the past, so she was aware she'd be "at risk" after she gave birth.

Bliss also explained the other precautions she and her husband took to make sure they were as prepared as possible: getting a doula, arranging for her mother to stay with them for a month, and even calling upon friends to bring them food. She went on to share that she was trying not to fixate too much on the possibility before it was confirmed she had it:
I also reminded myself that everything might be fine: I didn't want postpartum depression to become a self-fulfilling prophecy, or to convince myself I would definitely have it. As a family, we were prepared as we could possibly be. And yet, you can never have the perfect plan.

Tyler opened up about a little-known part of his background.
Bliss Got Candid About Her Struggles
After giving birth to her daughter Galileo in April, Bliss explained she began to experience postpartum depression symptoms "almost immediately." On top of being in labor for a whopping 42 hours, she also explained she was "launched straight into taking care of a newborn." Bliss described how she began to simply go through the motions in her life:
I started to fear the night. I struggled to get up in the mornings. I was crying a lot, and wasn't able to watch anything but comedies — any emotion felt like too much. Worst of all, when I got Galileo out of her bassinet each morning, I knew the smile on my face was fake.
The reality TV star went on to share that while she initially didn't want to go on medication (worried that it might interfere with her ability to breastfeed her baby), after speaking with her doctor she had a prescription filled for an antidepressant.
While at first Bliss was concerned that taking a pill would feel like "a step backward," the more that she thought about it, the more she realized this was something she needed to do for the good of her family. "My daughter needed me to be present for her," she emphasized.

The dating show's casting directors tells all about the process.
Thankfully, the antidepressant appeared to be fast-acting for the new mother, and Bliss shared with the outlet that she began to feel more like her old self just two weeks later. She was delighted to find that she no longer had to fake a smile at her baby daughter, but rather that it was appearing on her lips naturally now.
In sharing her story, Bliss was clear that she wasn't trying to push any particular agenda, but rather that she wanted to share her own experience in case it resonated with other new mothers. She pointed out that, before having Galileo, she imagined that becoming a parent would be a part of who she was, but "not everything." Since her daughter came into the world, however, she noted she'd experienced a complete change. "Now, I feel like being Mama is my identity," she explained, "Everything else I do comes from that core — including sharing my story."
