Ramses Prashad drew a lot of flak on Love Is Blind Season 7. After the show's most shattering breakup scene, where he was seemingly wearing a thong, many fans blamed Ramses for making Marissa George feel like she's "too much" and "not enough" at the same time.
Even Marissa's outspoken mother was suspicious of Ramses from the start—from his "superiority complex" to his shady feminism and being "in between jobs" at that time. Marissa has moved on since, while Ramses' life is much less eventful these days, albeit slightly redeeming. Here's what he's been up to after his whirlwind reality TV debut.
Ramses' Employment Status Is Now Clearer After Love Is Blind
Ramses Has Been Redeeming Himself To Fans Due To His Activism
Based on Ramses' LinkedIn profile, he currently works as a full-time Program Associate for Impact Justice, a non-profit organization of "researchers and innovators who think outside the box about scalable justice solutions." He was promoted to the position in March 2024.
Although Ramses doesn't post much on Instagram (at least unlike the rate at which most of his co-stars do), fans have commended him for addressing social issues. Many thought it was admirable that he bravely expressed his political beliefs on TV.

What Is Love Is Blind's Hannah Jiles Up To Today?
Hannah Jiles is focusing on herself after breaking up with Love is Blind boyfriend, Nick.
During the reunion, Ramses' silence and refusal to engage in verbal spats also convinced fans that he's had some growth. In his year-end post for 2024, the activist said he's "endlessly grateful for the lessons that shaped [him], the growth that transformed [him], and the incredible people who lit up even the darkest days."
It Was "Difficult" For Ramses To "See How Heartbroken" Marissa Was
Ramses And Marissa Are Not On Speaking Terms After Love Is Blind
After the reunion, Ramses reflected on his experience on Love Is Blind to E! News. He clarified that he "wanted" his relationship with Marissa "to really work." So it was "difficult" for him to "see how heartbroken" she was during and after their onscreen breakup.
"It's difficult to see and hear—even now—how much that heartbreak has affected her," he said. "I'm a pure empath, and it hurts me to hear that to this day."
Ramses also explained why they "got so far" into the engagement, before telling Marissa he was worried her energy might be "too much" for him. "The reason why it even got so far is because my heart really wanted to walk down that aisle and see Marissa coming down that aisle as well," he stated, "but I had to recognize just where our fundamental differences were."

An Exclusive Interview With Love Is Blind's Monica Davis: Reality Star Spills On What We Didn't See On The Show
In an exclusive interview, Monica clarifies misconceptions about her and reveals Stephen's "fraud" moments that weren't caught on camera.
Although Marissa's mom was clearly not a fan of Ramses, she asked him to reconsider the breakup. "She went and privately spoke to him off-camera, saying, 'Please don't do this to my daughter. You guys clearly do love each other. What is going on?'" Marissa said of her mom's talk with Ramses.
"Just trying to get him to see reason — that it's scary but we could do this," she continued. "Her response was actually a lot different than I thought it would be." Marissa recalled that she "had no say in this breakup," as Ramses "had already made his decision" during that scene viewers got to see on Netflix.
Ramses Is "Happy" That Marissa Found New Love After Love Is Blind
Marissa Tried To Get Back Together With Ramses After The Show
In November 2024, Marissa hard-launched her new beau on Instagram. Speaking with Nick Viall on The Viall Files, Ramses said he knew his ex-fiancée "was dating someone" before it was Insta-official. "She's been dating him for the last few months or earlier in the year," he said at that time.
"I'm happy for her," Ramses said of Marissa's new relationship. "If it's someone that can embrace her for who she is and she's happy, then that's great."
Ramses added that Marissa's boyfriend-reveal didn't "catch [him] off-guard," even after she tried to get back together with him after the show. But even though he "wasn't trying to cut her out of [his] life," as he told E!, a second shot just wasn't in the cards for them.

An Exclusive Interview With Love Is Blind's Alex Byrd
In an exclusive interview, Alex says she did her best to make the relationship work even when Tim got caught up in asserting he was "the man."
After the show, Ramses wanted to be available to [Marissa], to have the conversations that she needed to have, so that she could find closure." But eventually, they "did have to stop talking, because it was just not good for either of [them]," said Marissa during her post-reunion catch-up with E!.
