It's the penultimate episode of this season of Love Is Blind. As the reality TV show cast members count down the days until their weddings, they still have some communication issues to iron out.

In particular, Lauren and David are still stuck in the same cycle. Will he ever be able to get over the fact that Lauren once dated a mutual acquaintance, or will his lack of confidence cause him to self-sabotage?

David Drives Lauren Crazy

We pick up with Lauren and David talking about his uncertainties around their future. He's still harping on the fact that his friends are saying she had a boyfriend before the experiment, despite Lauren telling him over and over that they were never in a committed relationship and that it ended before she joined the cast. He's under the impression that things with the mystery guy were actually more serious than Lauren's saying. "There was nothing to officially end," she emphasizes once more.

David seems to be trying to pin his hesitance on Lauren, making it seem like she's the one who isn't ready for marriage. To her credit, Lauren stands her ground:

I don't understand why this is all on me.

She points out that she's asked multiple times to meet his family and that he's the one who's refused. It's getting to the point where she's questioning his love for her. In the end, David shows his cards, finally admitting he's not ready to move forward with their relationship, chickening out and ending things.

Lauren tells the cameras that she even wrote a letter to David's sister explaining how much she loved him and wanted to marry him, but it turns out he never even gave it to her. It's clear the issue was the one David had with himself.

The Cast Gets Together

Later, the entire cast gathers together for a night out. The guys admit they're sad to see David leaving the experiment. Some old pod ghosts join the party, including Molly and Brittany. Molly and Lauren have a conversation about David, and they gossip about the rumors that he might still be a virgin. They bond over the fact that they may have both dodged a bullet with him.

David eventually shows up, as does Madison (who's since dyed her hair hot pink), Meg, and Alex. Madison explains she and Alex connected in person after the pods, but she found out Meg had also slid into his DMs. Meanwhile, Molly talks to David, putting him in his place about Lauren:

Our first conversation in the pods was about how you push people away. And from the information I gathered from her, it sounded like you did not give her a chance.

Still, David denies it, and Molly tries to ask him the last time he had sex, to which he says it's been a while. "I think you're making excuses," she tells him. "She's my number one," she adds.
