Love Is Blind Season 7's Tyler Francis and Ashley Adionser's relationship is really being put through a lot right now, and fans have been wondering if they will make it out all right. Only this year, a major scandal broke that involved Tyler and the children he had before their marriage.
That was only the tip of the iceberg, as people quickly began to dig into Tyler's past after that, and another worrying detail of his history is that he has a criminal past. That, of course, led fans to wonder how much Ashley truly knows about her husband. Here's what she said.

All The Rules The Love Is Blind Cast Has To Follow
Contestants who appear on Love Is Blind must follow a certain set of rules in the pods and throughout their engagement and wedding.
Tyler Francis' Paternity Scandal
After Episode 9 of Love is Blind Season 7, fans came to the conclusion that Tyler Francis had lied to Ashley Adionser. When the news that he had fathered three children before they got together came out, he excused himself, saying that he was a sperm donor.
However, unfortunately for him, his story was quickly challenged publicly, with the mother of his children, Bri Thomas, coming out to share her side of the story in a since-deleted Instagram post.
"'Sperm babies’ they are not,” she wrote, shocking fans.
"My children love their ‘Dad.’ To think that he has reduced them to ‘sperm babies,’ when I was told he was going on the show to be able to better provide for them, is the most absurd and hurtful thing ever. My kids don’t deserve this."

Love Is Blind's Ashley Sets The Record Straight About Tyler's Estranged Kids
Do Tyler's kids actually know what he looks like or not?!
While Tyler still hasn't weighed in on the scandal, Life & Style confirmed that his sayings caused an irreparable rift with his children, as his 5-year-old twin daughters legally dropped his last name after their mother requested it after Love is Blind was filmed.
If their children used to have his last name, it's unlikely he was just a sperm donor, so while fans can't know how involved he was in their lives and what his agreement with the mother was, there is at least one big lie in Tyler's story.
Tyler's Troubles With The Law
As if the paternity scandal wasn't enough, another big secret of Tyler's was also recently revealed, and this one could have even bigger consequences. It seems the reality TV star has a criminal record.
After the public fight with his children's mother broke, Life & Style dug into Tyler's past and shared that there were several charges against him, for some frankly upsetting things.

Love Is Blind Fans Call Tyler And Ashley "Liars" After The Show's Creator Defends Vetting Process
Court receipts are out, and it's not looking good for Tyler and Ashley.
"The reality star, 35, was hit with three counts of misdemeanor DUI charges, including DUI with a BAC of .08 or more, DUI–liquor/drugs/vapors/combo and extreme DUI–BAC of .15 or more on November 30, 2008, according to online records viewed by Life & Style on Tuesday, October 15. Tyler was also charged with reckless driving and exceeding 85 MPH," the site reported in October.
Several fans seemed to have turned against him after that, but he still has a large group of passionate supporters who are rooting for him to fight for his marriage and not let these issues get in the way of his relationship with Ashley.
What Does Ashley Think Of This?
With all this going on, everyone seems to have their own opinion, but the truth is only one person's opinion matters. What does Ashley think of the scandals surrounding her husband?
She has remained largely private about the situation, and while fans know what he told her about his children, there's no way of knowing how she found out about his criminal record.
One of her recent posts could lead fans to believe he told her beforehand because after the news of his DUIs broke she was fiercely defensive of her marriage.
"They’ll never bully me for loving like Christ. Not blindly. But unconditionally," she stated.
"The act of love is never something to regret, no matter the outcome, timeframe it lasts, no matter what. Each of us (my cast mates) put ourselves out there in the most intensely vulnerable way. And I commend that act of bravery. As for me and mine, cheers to us navigating life and love together."
Now, the paternity scandal is another story...
She had more interesting things to say about that.
In one of her posts, a fan questioned her about having a negative reaction to the news that had come out, defending Tyler's story about being a sperm donor and saying that he was actually generous for helping a couple have children.
“Did you hear the part where I say, ‘I’m not mad at him trying to help a couple start a family...in fact I find it to be admirable!’ I would NEVER EVER demean anything about a woman’s fertility,'" she replied.
However, she also said that there were a lot of things fans still didn't know about what happened between them and that things were more complicated than people could infer from a reality TV show.
“I’d love to open this dialogue further. But for now, I’ll say it’s more complicated when you donate to friends and family.”
Even though she might still feel rightfully angry about all the upsetting information that has come out, it seems obvious that she's not ready to give up on their marriage, so while they still need to work on a lot of things, the pair are still committed to one another.
