Love Island USA Season 7 has officially come to an end, and it may have been the most dramatic season yet. From jaw-dropping recouplings to America calling out the least trustworthy Islanders — and even a breakup in the finale — it was a wild ride viewers will certainly never forget.
While the Islanders always deliver plenty of drama, Love Island USA wouldn't be complete without its iconic narrator, Iain Stirling. Having narrated the original UK version since Season 1 and joining the American series in Season 4, Iain has a front-row seat to every twist and turn. So naturally, it was only right to ask Iain his favorite Season 7 moment.

How To Watch Love Island All Stars Season 2
Season 6 of Love Island USA was the summer's biggest sleeper hit, and the franchise just dropped Love Island All Stars Season 2.
Here's Love Island USA Narrator Iain Stirling's Favorite Moment From Season 7
Love Island USA wouldn't be the same without its quick-witted narrator Iain Stirling. His hilarious commentary, ranging from cheeky to one-liners to perfectly timed jabs, adds an extra layer of entertainment to every episode. Whether he's poking fun at awkward love triangles or calling out questionable decisions, Iain's voiceover just makes the show that much more fun to watch.
With Love Island USA Season 7 officially wrapped, narrator Iain Stirling revealed to Parade what his favorite moment of the season was. And while there were no shortage of unforgettable twists, like Islanders voting out their own friends, America stepping in to shake things up between the couples, and Nic Vansteenberghe asking Huda Mustafa if she was a "mamacita," none stood out to Iain quite like the shocking dumping and recoupling between Nic and Olandria Carthen.
In particular, Iain loved seeing Nic and Olandria share their first kiss back in the villa in Soul Ties.
“I do genuinely think that first kiss from Nick and Olandria after they were both ‘dumped’ from the Villa is genuinely up there with one of the most iconic moments of any Love Island I’ve done."
He continued, "It really did feel like a sort of culturally significant moment for fans of this sort of show.”
Nic And Olandria Coupled Up After A Dramatic Dumping
As fans will remember, the Casa Amor twist delivered one of the season's most shocking moments when both Nic and Olandria were unexpectedly dumped from the villa as both could not form solid connections with a bombshell. Their dumping took fans and Islanders by total surprise since they had strong connections with their original couplings as Nic was with Cierra Ortega and Olandria was coupled up with Taylor Williams.
But in true Love Island fashion, the drama didn't stop there. In yet another twist, Nic and Olandria were whisked away to a private location where they were given a choice: go home separately or couple up and continue the journey together. Without hesitation, they chose each other. When they returned as a couple, Nic and Olandria shared a very passionate kiss in Soul Ties, but the following day, Olandria expressed that she only saw them as friends.
It wasn't until Taylor chose to recouple with Casa Amor bomshell Clarke Carraway, and Cierra had to abruptly leave the show, that Nic and Olandria gave it another go. This time, they realized that there were sparks between them and went all the way to the finale.

A few fans were shocked to see Ace picking Amaya over Chelley during the first Love Island USA Season 7 recoupling.
The Final Four Couples Of Love Island USA Season 7
Nic and Olandria aka "Nicolandria" as fans dubbed them, made it all the way to the finals along with couples Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley, Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia, and Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales.
One of the most intriguing aspects of the Love Island USA Season 7 finale was that three of the four final couples had only paired up in the final week. Huda, who had originally coupled up with JD Dodard during Casa Amor, ultimately reconnected with Chris—another Casa Amor arrival. Iris and Pepe sparked their connection after TJ Palma received the fewest votes in a challenge where America ranked the Islanders. Meanwhile, Casa Amor bombshell Bryan chose to pursue Amaya, recognizing the genuine and grounded qualities in her that he felt the other men had overlooked.
What made the final four outcome also surprising was the none of the couples were "closed off." In contrast, two of the couples who were exclusive included Taylor Williams and Clarke Carraway and Ace Green and Chelley Bissainthe, but both were eliminated before the finale.

'Love Island' Star Reveals The Behind The Scenes Truth About The Latest Season
This controversial "Love Island" contestant has blown the lid off what is really happening off camera.
In the final episode of Love Island USA Season 7, each of the remaining couples enjoyed a sweet one-on-one date to reflect on their journeys. Amaya and Bryan made their relationship official by becoming "closed off," while Iris and Pepe had an honest conversation about life beyond the villa. Nic and Olandra, still riding high on public support, shared a heartfelt moment reading fan mail that confirmed how much America loved them as a couple.
But the most unexpected twist came during Huda and Chris’ date night. In a vulnerable moment, Huda told Chris she only saw him as a friend. With that, they made Love Island USA history by becoming the first pair to reach the finale, no longer a couple.
Host Ariana Madix later read the Love Island USA Season 7 results:
- In fourth place: Iris and Pepe
- In third place: Huda and Chris
- Runner-ups: Olandria and Nic
- Winners: Amaya and Bryan
“I feel like I’m flying in the sky right now,” Amaya said after they were declared the winners. “(I) feel so seen and validated. And for people to see how powerful our connection is ... boy, was this a ride here on Love Island. But man, I would do this ride all over again if it led me to him.”
Bryan then shared, "Meeting Amaya here turned my experience around ridiculously. I’m so thankful to meet this person, I would do this experience a hundred times over."
After Amaya and Bryan were named the winners of Season 7, Ariana gave each of them an envelope with one containing zero dollars and another containing the $100,000 prize. Bryan ended up with the envelope with the money and could choose to either split it with Amaya or keep it to himself. He decided to split the money with her. "This isn't even a question for me," he shared. "Of course I'm splitting this money with Amaya."
