As one of the coolest reality shows on all of television, Married at First Sight knows exactly what the fans wan.t Sure, the episodes can drag at times, and maybe there are too many couples each season, but by and large, this shows consistently delivers the goods.

Married at First Sight made its official debut for American audiences in July 2014 on FYI, which eventually became Lifetime. For the unfamiliar, the premise of the show revolves around relationship experts picking total strangers to marry one another before embarking on a honeymoon and the subsequent first steps in their marriage. From that point on, the cameras are constantly rolling, and audiences have the chance to watch the journey of each couple unfold.
This show has beautiful and touching moments, moments of sheer craziness, and moments that leave people speechless. Essentially, it's everything a person could want in a reality show.

Meka And Michael Could Have Been A Decent Match
During season 10 of the show, audiences were introduced to a slate of new couples. There were some good matches, some interesting ones, and even a match that seemed destined for failure from the very beginning.
The season has notable couples, especially Meka and Michael.

For many years, she did not know her self-worth and she has struggled to find healthy relationships. Meka is ready to start her next chapter and is looking for a partner that she can share her life with."
The show's experts wound up pairing her up with Michael.
"Michael was born and raised in Washington, DC by his aunt and cousin when his mother passed away when he was very young. His tight-knit family, though small, have always stuck together with their strong family values. Michael feels like he has always been ready for marriage and he has simply been waiting for the right opportunity and the right person," his bio reads.
Sure they had their differences, but clearly, the experts felt that these two could balance each other out and strive for a lasting union.
Sadly, things spiraled out of control, and the roller coaster ride this couple went on was hard to watch.
What Happened To Them?
After their tumultuous time together, the couple ultimately decided to go their separate ways. Interestingly, Michael up and decided that instead of a traditional divorce, he wanted a full-on annulment.
"Meka would have been fine with the divorce, though. She stated that after Michael filed for one in January, they agreed to fill out the paperwork to see it through. However, he changed his mind and wanted to have the marriage annulled, claiming the show defrauded him. She blames that decision, and we’re assuming the pandemic as well, on the delay in getting a court date," MadamNoire writes.
During the separation process, both parties pulled no punches, as they both wanted to get as far away from one another as possible. After their rocky time together, who could blame them.
Once things went through, Meka expressed joy with the fact that she would never have to deal with someone like Michael again.
"I’m free. I’m done talking about this. This the last time I ever speak on that man. We’re separated, we’re done. It’s over. I can put all of this behind me, pretend it never happened. Don’t ask me about my marriage, don’t ask me about a wedding because it never happened. I’m single, I’m looking for my husband, and he’s coming soon. That’s it," she said.
Meka and Michael were a failed couple from the show, but it has had successful matches, which is why people keep trying to get on board.
