8 Tina Fey's Mean Girls the Musical Is Touring

Tina Fey is a highly successful actress, writer, and creator. She has starred and appeared in numerous productions since first stepping into the entertainment industry in 1999. She starred in the 2015 film Sisters with Amy Poehler and the 2016 film Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. She is also a recurring character in Hulu’s popular show Only Murders in the Building.

She created and wrote Mean Girls, as well as Netflix’s hit show Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and the newer television show Mr. Mayor. She also created a short film in 2022 titled If Regina George was Nonbinary.

Most importantly for Mean Girls fans, Fey's Mean Girls the Musical, which she wrote and produced is now on tour. And just because Fey does not have enough going on, she and Poehler kicked off their comedy tour, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler: Restless Leg Tour. Is there anything this woman cannot do successfully?

Lacey Chabert is an American actress and writer best known for her portrayal of Gretchen Wieners in Mean Girls. She was also previously a member of the cast of the soap opera All My Children. Since her days playing Gretchen, Chabert has stepped into the world of Hallmark movies.

The actress has made so many movies for the television network it is hard to keep track. She starred in movies such as The Christmas Waltz, The Wedding Veil, and Groundswell.

Since Candace Cameron Bure left Hallmark, Chabert has become the official leading lady of the network. As such, she is now heavily producing the films that she is starring in and really making a name for herself both in front and behind the camera.

6 Daniel Franzese Has A One-Man Show

Actor Daniel Franzese played the fan-favorite character Damian in Mean Girls. He went on to have guest roles in many hit television shows, including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Party Down, and Glow. He had his own one-man show in 2013 called I’ve Never Really Made the Kind of Money to Become a Mess.

In 2016, Franzese proposed to his boyfriend Joseph Phillips. They were never married, however, and broke up in 2018.

5 Lizzy Caplan In Fleishman Is In Trouble

Lizzy Caplan played Damian’s best friend Janis Ian in Mean Girls. Caplan truly capitalized on her success in the film, and landed several roles in hit television shows. She had roles in True Blood, Masters of Sex, and New Girl. Caplan also continued to work in film and portrayed characters in Cloverfield, Now You See Me 2, and The Interview.

Caplan is also known for dating Friends actor Matthew Perry, who recently published a memoir about his substance addiction. Caplan was also in the television miniseries Fleishman Is in Trouble, which tells the story of a family going through a divorce.

Most recently, Caplan starred opposite Joshua Jackson in the limited series, Fatal Attraction. The show received critical acclaim and fans are hoping that while it was only slated for one season, it will come back for a second.

Amanda Seyfried played the typical blonde stereotype character Karen Smith in the 2004 film Mean Girls. Though fans were mean to Seyfried after Mean Girls, she has continued to be a star in the film industry. She starred in the films Mamma Mia!, Letters to Juliet, and the 2012 Les Misérables.

Seyfried took on the difficult task of portraying a real person in Hulu’s limited series The Dropout. Her performance was critically acclaimed, and she won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie in 2022.

Since then, Seyfried has starred in the tv series, The Crowded Room with Tom Holland who had to take a break from acting after giving his all to the role.

The same year actress Rachel McAdams played the iconic Regina George in Mean Girls, she also starred alongside Ryan Gosling in The Notebook. These successes launched her into stardom, and she went on to be a part of films such as Sherlock Holmes, The Vow, and Southpaw. McAdams has slowed down her acting jobs to raise her children privately with partner Jamie Linden, she still loves her job.

Rachel McAdams joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the 2016 film Doctor Strange. She plays Dr. Christine Palmer, Dr. Strange’s love interest. She reprised her role in the 2022 sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Since then, McAdams took on a role in Are You There God? It's Me Margaret as well as in the tv series, Dave. 2 Jonathan Bennett To Star In First LGBTQ+ Hallmark Film

Jonathan Bennett played the main love interest in Mean Girls, Aaron Samuels. While he is first and foremost an actor, he has not limited himself to one career. He competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2014 and wrote a Mean Girls-inspired cookbook called The Burn Cook Book in 2018.

Hallmark, known for its television movies, released its first LGBTQ+ film in 2022. And when Bennett was announced as the lead of the film, fans could not be happier.

1 Lindsay Lohan Is Making Her Comeback

Lindsay Lohan was very popular in the early 2000s and played the lead character, Cady Heron, in New Girls. During the filming, she and Seyfried bonded over experiencing imposter syndrome.

Following her success in the film and other ventures, Lohan’s name began circulating tabloids due to her partying and dramatic relationships. She fell out of popularity, though she never officially quite acting and instead had smaller roles throughout the 2010s.

Lohan is making a comeback, though, as she had a brief reality show on MTV called Lindsay Lohan Beach Club and launched a business called #BeYourOwnBoss. She also starred in the Netflix film Falling for Christmas, which aired on the streaming network in 2022.

Since then, Lohan has gotten married and become a mom. She gave birth to her son, Luai in July 2023 and is reportedly settling into motherhood.
