The time has come — the cast of The Traitors Season 3 is here! The new season comes off a successful Season 2 under host Alan Cumming. NBC reported the series' second season was nominated for four Emmy Awards. Alan took home the Emmy Award for Outstanding Host For A Reality Or Reality Competition Program, and the season took home 2024's Outstanding Reality Competition Program.

The reality competition series has famous faces competing as "Traitors" and "Faithfuls." The whole group is presumed a Faithful, but Alan quietly turns a few competitors into Traitors. It's then the Traitors' job to stealthily kill off a Faithful before they find out who the actual Traitor is. The end of every episode has a round table voting style, which includes everyone's reasoning for voting off a suspected Traitor. If the group votes a person off the show, they then have to spill if they were, in fact, a Traitor or a Faithful. The Traitor who goes undetected longest wins a cast prize at the end of the season.

As successful as the show's second season was, fans have a feeling Season 3 will be even more entertaining. With an iconic lineup of famous faces and Alan back as the host, Season 3 is off to the races this winter.

Meet The Cast Of Season 3's The Traitors

Considering the amazing cast for Season 2 of The Traitors, the third season needed to exceed expectations. Season 2 faces like Phaedra Parks (The Real Housewives of Atlanta), Peter Weber (The Bachelorette), and Chris "CT" Tamburello (The Real World) were fan favorites, and are still talked about. However, Season 3's cast is just as spectacular.

What Is The Biggest Problem With The Traitors That Completely Changes The Show?

The Traitors is a great reality show but it has a huge flaw that undermines the game.

The Bravo universe has a few faces gracing Season 3: Dorinda Medley (RHONY), Robyn Dixon (RHOP), Chanel Ayan (RHODubai), Tom Sandoval (Vanderpump Rules), Ciara Miller (Summer House), Dolores Catania (RHONJ).

The release of some of Bravo's top players caused some drama between RHONY's Dorinda Medley and Summer House's Ciara Miller and Lindsay Hubbard. According to All About the Real Housewives, Lindsay was originally supposed to be a part of the cast. However, once production found out she was pregnant — unable to perform some of the competitive challenges — she was replaced by her Summer House castmate Ciara.

On the contrary, US Weekly reported that Dorinda did not leak the information about Lindsay's pregnancy to production, despite Lindsay's comments.

Big Brother's Danielle Reyes and Britney Haynes are fighting for the cash prize on Season 3, as are Survivor's diehards, Rob Mariano, Carolyn Wiger, Tony Vlachos, and Jeremy Collins. Well-known celebrities from the popular Bachelor Universe include Wells Adams and Gabby Windey.

What Do We Know About The Traitors Season 3?

The Traitors' third season began filming in the Scottish Highlands in the late summer of 2024. Peacock greenlighting a third season was not a surprise considering multiple Emmy nominations. More importantly, host Alan Cumming adds a sense of magical whimsy that can't be seen anywhere else.

In fact, Alan will have some help with a co-host for Season 3: his adorable dog, Lala. NBC reported that Lala will be an official cast member (with her own portrait!). "Lala is a street dog from Costa Rica. She got pregnant and a vet took her in. She had her puppies, and all of them were adopted but no one wanted her. I can’t believe that. She’s the most cute dog in the world!"

When Does Season 3 Premiere?

Parade reported that the third season of The Traitors will air on Peacock on Jan. 9, 2025. The series is exclusive to Peacock.

Will There Be A Season 4?

Season 2 was so favorable that the series was renewed for Seasons 4 and 5! Alan has also signed on as host for those seasons.

In November 2024, Peacock released the official trailer for Season 3 (which gave a nod to the global phenomenon Wicked, because of the time of its release). Alan can be seen walking through a dark forest saying, "By the pricking of my thumbs something wicked this way comes. Welcome back my Faithfuls!"

Ciara Miller can be heard saying, "There's nothing more than someone you can't trust," before Big Brother's Britney Haynes is heard saying, "Suspect everyone, trust no one."

You ain't seen nothing yet.

The cast is filled with villainous and intelligent cast members who know how to tell a lie, as well as detect one. Alliances will be created, trust will be broken, and Traitors will do what they need to do to kill off the Faithfuls.

The Traitors is a suspenseful reality competition series that blends strategy, deception, and psychological gameplay. Featuring a mix of celebrity and civilian contestants, the show places its participants in a secluded, castle-like setting where they must work together to complete physical and mental challenges in order to add money to a collective prize pot. However, hidden among the group are several “traitors” whose secret mission is to sabotage the team and eliminate—or “murder”—fellow players each night without being caught. The rest of the group, known as the “faithful,” must work to identify the traitors among them before they themselves are picked off. This constant battle between trust and suspicion creates an intense social game full of twists, alliances, and betrayals.

Based on the original Dutch series De Verraders, the U.S. version of The Traitors is hosted by Scottish actor Alan Cumming, whose theatrical flair and charismatic presence add a dramatic edge to the already tense atmosphere. Cumming’s hosting style strikes a perfect balance between cheeky and chilling, setting the tone for a game where nothing is ever quite as it seems. Each episode builds suspense as players strategize, form alliances, and attend the dramatic banishment ceremonies where accusations fly and emotions run high. As traitors secretly coordinate to avoid detection, the faithful must rely on their instincts, social perception, and sometimes sheer luck to survive. Combining reality TV drama with psychological intrigue, The Traitors offers a gripping and unpredictable viewing experience.
